Terrible room but cheap. Dirty beach. Broke toilet. Shampoo fell off wall. Towel rack fell off wall. Room wouldn't stay cold.

Wasn’t pleased with the cleanliness, bedding found to be not cleaned well. Rooms really small. Had to pay extra for beach chairs and umbrellas. It Was not explained as an option. Assumed with resort fee that should be included. Pool bathrooms smelled really bad.

I loved everything about our stay at the Hilton overall. We are frequent travelers and always stay at the Hilton resorts on the beach. The only reason I can’t leave 5 stars is due to the “private beach access”. Unfortunately, the “private beach” is behind the public beach. Granted, the beach and resort are beautiful, I was disappointed the beach was not private for Hilton members only. I feel that the listing was misleading because I would not have stayed here had I known the beach wasn’t truly private. Also, the chair & umbrella set up is extremely expensive. I was ok with the price because I appreciate the convenience. However it was not worth it to have a public beach in front of the view. I very much enjoy a private beach & felt a little ripped off that I paid for a beachfront with a private beach at a 100% premium rate for a public beach to be in front. Private beach is high on my list of importance when booking, so if you plan forking out about $500 on renting chairs this is not the place to do it. Overall our stay was amazing. 10/10 customer service upon arrival & the gentleman who checked me in made me feel so welcomed it surpassed my annoyance with the chairs. (I wish I knew his name) The housekeeping is very friendly and professional. I recommend this place if you don’t care about a private beach!

Our stay at the Hilton Clearwater had some definite highlights. Charlie in valet was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, efficient, and made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The poolside service also stood out. Staff provided frozen towels and cool water during the hottest part of the day, which was a thoughtful and refreshing touch. However, we did encounter a cleanliness issue in the room. There was a significant dust buildup, especially on the air vent, which was visibly caked and aggravated our allergies. For a hotel of this caliber, this level of maintenance was disappointing.

The rooms are old and poorly maintained. For what they charge per night, the rooms should be better maintained. Hotel looks nice from the outside, but inside the room shows it’s age. Shower doors look like they are about to fall off. Terrible view of dirty roof on Gulf side balcony, cracked concrete on balcony of other rooms.

I liked the valet services. The cleanliness in the room was poor. When we first got there the sweeper had not been ran and the shower was filthy with orange/pink mold which tells me that it has not been cleaned in sometime. There was also yellow stains all over the carpet and it looked like something had spilled and tan down the wall but was never cleaned. Also our in room refrigerator did not work.

Housekeepers were great and polite! 2 valet parkers were very rude to me. Also was charged fees when I arrived. My husband paid for everything,he purchased a bundle and it included the stay rental car and flight. If I had not had my own credit card with me, I would not have been able to check in. I think EVERYTHING should be included with the bundles and not hit with hidden fees

We arrived very late to the hotel. When we got to our room our air conditioner sounded like a freight train. We called the front desk and after about 30 mins they were able to move us to a different room. The rooms are very dated. Bathrooms have covered mold in caulking, our bathtub had been painted, old carpet in rooms. Our floor had a massive water leak so the second night we heard people cleaning it up and loud water vacuums and fans all night. Beach chairs and set up are expensive. Be aware not to have any alcohol in front of the cones on the beach property. We saw the police several times writing tickets and asking for IDs if you had alcohol on the beach. You have to pay $29 a day for valet parking or $20 an hour to park yourself. I'm not sure what the resort fee is because I wouldn't consider this a resort. It's an older Hilton hotel with a good location.

Did not appreciate the beach set up. They charge for beach chairs or lounges and they make you sot far back from the ocean not to memtion the price of rentals being way too high. I would recommend paying a bit more and stayimg at the Sand Pearl which I would have done if it had been available. I actually wont be back to this area without a Sand Pearl reservation. Also the toilet ran constantly, sometimes wouldn't flush at all and air conditioner was as loud as a freight train

This Hilton is severely run down, rusted up metal on the lamps and handles of everything in the room and balcony, and the room was very dirty. The bed linens and towels etc were clean. If it wouldn’t have been a hassle to leave and find another hotel, we would have left right away. Instead, we bought cleaner and cleaned the room as best we could ourselves. The level of dust in the room was awful - our cleaning wipes were black from the lack of cleaning on the tables, desk, lamp, etc. The shower door had been cracked. The room was moldy. The pictures and headboard squares were all tilted and out of place. The ground floor was under construction. The pool and outside areas were excellent - clean and beautiful. We will not be staying again.

Location is excellent , right on the beach and we had early check in which was awesome. So many extra charges when you get to the property . Did not like the valet parking ( makes each outing time consuming ) Room was very far located from the main lobby . But overall very pleasant experience and would recommend and come back .

we had a wonderful stay at the hotel. we were not happy with the original room since we booked a Gulf view and they put us on the third floor with the parking lot view so we brought it to their attention and they moved us up to the ninth floor the next day with a partial Gulf view which was sufficient.

Everything was great. Location is awesome. Rooms are OK (a little stinky!). Property is wonderful. However, part of the building collapsed (almost right on us) near the pool entrance. The only other issue we had is that of all the locations in this expansive resort, they do not let you sit on, or provide any tables to sit and eat at unless you are paying at their restaurant. If you stay for multiple days, there will be times you want to eat outside food. We tried sitting at a beach table, and got kicked out. The server told us to go eat it on the couch in the lobby. (which we did) It would be my opinion that having guests sitting in the lobby eating is not only messy, but doesn't look great for guests entering. They would be better off providing seating anywhere on the property to sit, eat and enjoy the beach. There is enough space!
