The staff are so helpful and the breakfast are so hearty. Great choice to stay outside of Edinburgh and great value for money. Catch the X55 bus just a short walk down the road to the bus terminal in the heart of Edinburgh. The X55 is wheel chair equipped as well. There is a superb fish and chip shop next door with Pizzas as well. The selection is fantastic and portions are huge.

Obviously costs some serious money to stay here -- but so beautiful. Room was comfortable and spacious; best night's sleep we had on our UK trip.

Very charming hotel, food at the restaurant is very good

One of the most beautiful hotels we have experienced with a highly professional staff. We were greeted warmly, our room was upgraded and we were given drink tokens to help celebrate our anniversary. Excellent location. Sadly, we only had one night. Highly recommend.

I would recommend the Bonham Hotel to anyone liking a "boutique hotel" with old world charm, an all wood "turn of the century" home with all the convienences and wonderful hosts. The restaurant to the Hotel is excellent, not only the breakfast but dinner is superb. (minus the veggie burger) The location is not far from the major sights. They have a sitting room, where we saw a small wedding one afternoon, and a wonderful large lobby looking out onto the street and gardens. I loved walking to coffee or my fav restaurant "the West Room" . Francesco was helpful and an asset to this wonderful lodging. I was alone and felt very welcome
