"Hotel.com act like a scam. I didn't know that the Ty Nant hotel was only for students. After contacting Hotels.com several times, it was impossible to get the deposit back. Therefore, Hotels.com has miscommunication with Ty Nant hotel and I been lie about the refund. Keep up the good work Hotels.com Anyway, it doesn't matter what's my opinions. "Wasn't expecting too much from our stay at The Dolphin hotel Swansea as it wasn't expensive and only classed as 3*. The receptionist was very friendly, efficient and welcoming. We did mention that we were in Swansea to celebrate my partner's birthday but wasn't offered anything as a free upgrade which would have been a nice treat. Having worked in hotels myself in the past this is something that can result in repeat business. The furniture was very dated and worn in appearance and the carpet was coming away from the walls. However the room was spotlessly clean. It suited us for what we needed and depending upon the price we would book there again "

"Still in the middle of a major refurbishment but a nice nights stay - bed whilst softer than I am used to was surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom is basic - would suggest changing whatever is used to clean this area as it’s’scent’ just reminded me of public loos. Will probably come back once remake finished…"
