Very cute cottage, nicely decorated, and well appointed. Everything was there that we needed , and more. Loved the neighbors, both human and animal. Rescue horses, mules and donkeys, plus a cute little duck came to visit us.It was very quiet and peaceful, plus the view of the mountains was beautiful. We'll be back.
We loved our stay! We have stayed at many, many VRBO’s and this is one of the best. I simply don’t have time to list everything that was fantastic but I will list the highlights in no specific order. Brenna our host was amazing to work with. She thought of everything for a great stay! I appreciate a cottage that is decorated for the style and location of the home. The sauna…wow! The ease of check in and checkout! We are staying at a VRBO in Lead, SD on our way home and just got the two page check out instructions…we have to pay a cleaning fee AND do all the laundry, all the garbage out, do all the dishes and sweep. I believe renters should absolutely respect the house but I don’t feel like we should have to do that much cleaning AND pay a cleaning fee! Guess what?! The ONLY thing Brenna asked was to put wet towels in the hamper! When on a relaxing vacation…VRBO’s with hosts like Brenna are where I want to stay! I would absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend you stay here. I am a TV junkie and I didn’t even miss having a TV! If you book a stay here, you will thank me!
2nd time staying here. It's a really peaceful area. Always enjoy the sauna. We enjoy interacting with "Lenny" the donkey. He wanted a lot of petting attention the last day we were there!

Great bed. Very clean cottage. All the things necessary for a comfortable stay. Getting a contact number earlier would have alleviated my concerns about arrival time, key, etc., since there is no on-site manager. That being said I would stay there again because it's a nice place in a wonderful setting.
We loved the setting of this property, with a mountain view out of the front windows and animals on surrounding farmland. The home was very clean and comfortable and offered fun amenities, like a firepit and woodfired sauna. Would definitely stay here again!
My gf and I enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and the surroundings were beautiful. We especially enjoyed the sauna. Had a hilarious encounter with the donkey in the back pasture. He liked his attention!
Beautiful little cabin. So quiet and so peaceful with just nature to listen to. Only thing that could be better is better pillows. (But we are picky about pillows) We will be back!!
