The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. "This is an ideal location when staying in Edinburgh with many amenities within an easy walk and several very good restaurants within a block or two. The hotel restaurant and separate bar are also very pleasing to be in and with excellent food and drink (flights of Scotch!!!). But above all, the staff, whether front desk, bar, restaurant -- across the board -- were unbelievably helpful and very, very nice. They made us feel that Scots may be the friendliest people on the planet!"
