This is the place to stay!

There's a great restaurant and bar located on-premise, though I wish they served breakfast. Our room was clean, comfortable and had just the right touches. The pool was just outside of our door and is for about 2/3 of the rooms. We both had a very relaxing and enjoyable 6-night stay!

A classic old Florida motel on the water. Convenient to the historic district and amphitheater. Feels like you are in the islands although still close to home. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is older so the bathrooms are small for two to share.

WE HAVE BEEN GOING TO CONCH HOUSE FOR YEARS BY BOAT FOR LUNCHES DRINKS AND DINNERS BUT NEVER HAVE STAYED AT THE HOTEL ITSELF. WE BOOKED LAST MINUTE FOR A NIGHTS OF LIGHTS OVERNIGHT STAY BEING LOCALS WE JUST DIDNT WANT TO DRIVE AND PARK ETC AND WAS SURPRISED HOW QUAINT THE ROOS WERE AS WELL AS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE THE SERVICE AND STAFF WERE VERY PLEASANT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A VERY BUSY TIME WITH CHECK INS THE PROCESS WAS SUPER QUICK AND EASY WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I have checked more than 500 times into a hotel and this is one of the few I will ever remember. I'm 51 so anyone in their 20's is a kid and he was incredible. Friendly, asked all the right questions and even mentioned a concert in town that we knew was sold out but told us how to get tickets if we wanted them. We are semi-locals to St.Augustine and when I told him where we would probably end up for dinner he offered to call his buddy at the restaurant who doesn't take reservations for us. I know the Conch House, have been there for Sunday Funday but never stayed. I was shocked, truly surprised at how big, renovated and clean our room was. We last minute head to St Augustine for the weekend 5 to 10 times a year. This was by far the best non downtown, last minute get a hotel for the weekend we have ever experienced.

The property is being renovated, and so the pool was not functional, but I knew this ahead of time, and the staff member told me that I could cancel and get a full refund. I chose to stay here anyway and it was a treasure! The property is dated (only one three prong plug in the whole suite for my laptop) but the staff were super, and the room was extremely spacious. I was very pleased! A full sized kitchen was a real benefit, as was the full living room and bedroom. It was nice to have a restaurant on site as well. Parking was close and made it easy to bring in all the costumes and gear I brought for a pirate weekend. I've already given the folks here at home a glowing review, so I expect that there will be more coming to spend time here. Thanks to the very accommodating staff, that made this a warm and welcoming place.
