Spanish Trace is somewhat dated; however, in the 20 years or so that we've been staying there, we've found the property to be consistently well-maintained. We always rent a 2nd or 3rd floor condo facing the ocean. As we get older, we enjoy watching the ocean from our deck more than actually going to the beach and getting in the water. This past week was one of yellow and red flags on the beach; so, enjoying it from our deck was perfect. The one negative is that the one elevator is very far from these ocean front accommodations. That made the 2nd floor preferable to the 3rd, which we would otherwise prefer. The only negative on this condo was the fact that in the master bedroom the only lamps were on the dresser ----- not by the bed. There were only 2 of us in a condo for 6; hence the extra bedroom made a great spot for our luggage to rest on the spare beds; so, it wasn't necessary to use the convenient dresser drawers. As always, the pool was delightful!
