"Great place "

"Good location and very quiet. Airconditioning in my room was poor/non-existant. Room was clean but a lot of visible dust on surfaces. The hand shower was broken and the rain shower was more of a drizzle than a shower. Breakfast was OK but the only coffee machine is woefully slow - get your coffee before you select any of the hot breakfast offerings or they will be cold by the time you get your coffee! Staff were helpful."

"Room was beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. Building was modern and clean. However, I asked if I could get a mini fridge put into the room. The staff said yes. The charge was €15. I was ok with that. However, the fridge was delivered to the room with a 2 pin power plug. As all hotel sockets were for 3 pin plugs, I went down to the reception and told them that the fridge could not operate without an adaptor. 2 reception staff then said, you have to pay an extra €6 for the adaptor. Personally, i think that's a bit ridiculous. Why charge visitors for the fridge that cannot be plugged in, and then follow up by charging them separately for the adaptor to make it eventually work? Apart from this odd setup, the hotel stay was great. But I still am confused with the fridge situation. If management have an answer for this, I would be very curious about their reasoning for such a policy. "

"This hotel was a gem! Tucked away on the riverfront, this hotel was a perfect landing place upon arriving in Ireland for the first time. The bus from the airport was a straight shot and took less than 15 minutes. I thought I would check my bag (which they offer) and explore the city as I arrived in the early morning, and the normal check-in time is not until the afternoon. But Martin, the wonderful human at the front desk, had a room ready for me right away! The rooms are small but have everything you need with over-the-top interior design throughout the property. After a full day of exploring the city, I asked the front desk if there was any way to dine in the hotel restaurant. With their assistance, I was able to score a table on the patio with a view of the river for dinner. Dino, the waiter, was delightful. After the lovely meal, I took advantage of the hotel pool, sauna, and steam room in the basement, which were clean, the staff was friendly, and the changing room was well-appointed. Before returning to my room and crawling into a large, clean bed. I had an absolutely great time from start to finish of my stay!"

"The room was beautiful with an amazing view. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great (offering both cold and hot options). The location can’t be beat for views and scenic exploration. Plus they are pet friendly (dog and cat) which can be hard to come by."

"The staff were excellent throughout our stay and the hotel was clean, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. We arrived for breakfast at around 9am, so not particularly late, but the cooked breakfast was cold and very poor. The room itself was okay, but quite dark as it overlooked an office block. The biggest issue was that the shower had no hot water, which really isn’t acceptable for a hotel stay. I mentioned the cold breakfast and the lack of hot water at checkout, but the response was just a polite “sorry about that, hopefully we do better next time.” Given the issues raised, that felt fairly dismissive. Good staff, but the basics weren’t right on this stay."
