"Hotel and staff are really friendly ensuring that we had a great stay. Great location right near jungle beach, which the staff offer a free shuttle service to. The breakfast is really nice and the property overlooks great views of Galle lighthouse. PickMe offers cheap Tuk Tuks/taxis to unawatuna/ galle. Overall had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend! "

"Had to wait over an hour past posted check in time. Was told some story about the AC, but, seems it was housekeeping as the floors were wet when we finally checked in. Room was run down..biggest issue was that neither of the two showers drained properly. In fact, sewage came up and created an offensive odor. "First time in Sri Lanka. Simply one of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere. Friendly, courteous staff who couldn't do enough for us, a superb room with a balcony offering a beautiful beach view. We stayed five nights and didn't bother to eat anywhere else - the food was excellent. We wanted to take the chef home with us. We took long walks along the beaches and spent a lot of time in the wonderful hotel grounds and by the very stylish infinity pool. We want to visit Sri Lanka again soon...
