"Classic seaside hotel with a charming restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was perfect. The view is amazing as the docks and tidal swings are so close you could touch them. We love Alma and have never had a bad time there. This hotel felt like home during our quick stay. The ONLY feedback would be re the music in the restaurant. It was sort of a giggle for us that the piano based instrumental hits from the 80s and 90s felt like we were in an elevator. By the time we were done eating though it had become a fun trivia game to guess what song it was based on the piano notes. Thank you for a great stay."

"My stay at the Pinecone was excellent. The rooms were clean and bright, the breakfast delicious. The owners were absolutely delightful and super helpful. For meals other than breakfast there is a restaurant and lounge within a three minute walk."

The best of what I love about people renting their own spaces: we felt like welcome guests in someone’s lovely home, rather than the sterility of a hotel or motel.We’re thrilled to find a sustainable land based salmon farm nearby! That’s soooooo cool!The beach is magnificent, as well."
