"Pebble Cottage is a very attractive and comfortable cottage with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is situated only a short distance from the attractions of that part of Cornwall. The host is very friendly and attentive. This holiday cottage is highly recommended."

"Really lovely hotel. Surprisingly well-maintained for its age (seen lots of hotels in similar buildings that are very shabby, not so here). Beautifully clean, nicely appointed rooms. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Great location for exploring up and down Cornwall. Special thanks to Selim (the hardest working man in hospitality!); there was a bit of confusion around the booking which was sorted promptly for us."

"Excellent, excellent and excellent is what I would like to say about our stay at this wonderful hotel. I have been to Charlestown before but never stayed. We have a medium sized dog (Sid) that we take everywhere with us, we know that most hotels nowadays are dog friendly but here was (in my opinion) above and beyond. There was a lovely doggy bag in our room with two ceramic bowls a rubber mat, dog treats and a tennis ball which Sid loved. All of the staff were first class and couldn’t be more helpful. The room was great with a comfortable mattress and pillows. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel and I thought that the food was very good, we had the sirloin steak which was cooked just right and I thought priced well. The breakfast selection was very good and well cooked and presented. Would I stay there again,ABSOLUTELY."

"The property is very clean, cosy and has everything one might need for a short break stay. Really great location as well. The only slight downside was the creaky and not sound proof ceiling, other than that, we’ve a really good stay at Claire’s"

"We booked accommodation for 4 adults for a trip to Cornwall. It was very well located for the Eden project, not far from the main road, spacious with 3 bathrooms and well equipped for a home from home feel. However a car is a necessity and it’s not even feasible to go for a run/ walk from the property as it is surrounded by narrow single track roads"

"Das Haus ist toll, ideal für Ausflüge, alle wichtigen Orte in Cornwall in einer guten Autostunde erreichbar sowie gute Zug- und Busverbindungen. Der kleine Ort ist sehr lebendig und liebenswert, sehr nette Nachbarn. Es gibt einen Pub mit leckerem Essen und vielfältigen Veranstaltungen, einen Fleischer und einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen. Das Haus, die Einrichtung wird jedoch nicht gut gepflegt und die Außenanlagen machen einen verwahrlosten Eindruck. Das ist sehr schade."
