「James and Emer where amazing hosts. We did not know that we would only have electricity for 4 hours and have to share a kitchen at the lodge. This part is very misleading on their site. That said: the property is beautiful and we had a wonderful time. We will be returning, better prepared next time. Propane stove and lantern. 」

「The drive to our glamping experience was a treat of its own. We saw so many deer sitting under trees and strolling around as we approached the retreat. Our host, Annie, made us feel immediately welcome. Our tent was luxurious with exactly what was needed to make our stay perfect. 「This place is super charming and offered a serene place to relax and unwind. The day we arrived we were able to walk our dog around the orchard and relaxed on the patio.One thing to understand is that it is the desert and there are procedures taken to benefit the land. The morning of our departure was “irrigation day” and the entire orchard was flooded by water getting pumped in. It was difficult to a place to walk our dog without sinking in the mud.」

「the glamping tent that is situated at the Manzano mountain retreat in New Mexico was really cool! the staff was incredible and the environment was beautiful! the only reason it is 4 stars and not 5 is because during the day the tent was soooo hot! it has a big vinyl window instead of fine mesh that basically tuns it into a greenhouse...they did have portable AC units inside but in the heat of the day it did not work. other than that, it was fantastic! i do believe these would be a hit for Fall...

「The people running the property were so nice and accommodating. We came on a very cold day where temperatures were around 25 F at night. They brought us electric space heaters for our tent and each bed had a heated mattress pad or blanket. They mentioned that the new bathrooms just opened. 4 full bathrooms that were heated and equipped with stand up showers, just a short walk from our tent.
