Blue Grotto
Blue Grotto
The Megalithic Temples of Malta (Hagar Qim) date back to 3600-3200 B.C.E. and are believed to be among the most ancient religious sites discovered to date on Earth. #History
Apparently this huge sinkhole in the countryside of Qrendi, occurred during a storm in 14th century. Well worth a visit, as it is quite off the tourist trail. There is also a nice chapel/church just above the sinkhole.
