The Sooke Harbour Penthouse is a luxurious 2,163-square-foot accommodation situated within the Sooke Harbour Resort & Marina in Sooke, British Columbia. This four-bedroom, three and a half bathroom penthouse offers stunning views of the harbour, Whiffin Spit, and beyond. There is one designated parking stall in the underground parkade labeled 102. Head down the driveweay towards the ocean and you will see a commercial building with the underground entrance to you left, stall 102 is on your right. Additional parking can be obtained for in the guest parking lot at the top of the property as you enter from the highway using the "paybyphone" App.

The penthouse features two master suites, each furnished with king-size beds—one located on the entry level and the other upstairs. The open-concept kitchen seamlessly connects to the living and dining areas, leading to an expansive oceanfront deck. Additional amenities include an electric fireplace, large screen tv and two common outddor hot tubs.


To get to the Sooke Harbour Resort and Marina, there are a few transportation options depending on your starting point. Here’s a breakdown:

From Victoria (about 45 minutes to 1 hour away):
By Car: The most common way to get to Sooke Harbour Resort and Marina from Victoria is by car. You would take Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway) west from Victoria, then turn onto Highway 14, which leads directly to Sooke. Follow the signs, and you’ll arrive at the resort.

By Bus: You can take public transit (BC Transit) from Victoria to Sooke. The Victoria to Sooke Bus (Route 61) operates regularly, though it might take a bit longer than driving directly. Once in Sooke, you can take a taxi or shuttle service to the marina if needed.

Taxi/Rideshare: A taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft can also be an option. The ride will take around 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

Shuttle Service: Some private shuttle services offer transportation between Victoria and Sooke, but you'll need to arrange these in advance.

From Vancouver (via Ferry):
By Ferry and Car: You can drive to Vancouver, take the ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay (about 1.5-hour ferry ride), then drive from Swartz Bay to Sooke (about a 40-minute drive).

By Public Transit and Ferry: If you don't have a car, you can take a bus or a shuttle from Vancouver to the ferry terminal, take the ferry to Vancouver Island, and then use local buses or taxis to get to Sooke Harbour Resort and Marina.

In general, driving is the most convenient and direct way to get to Sooke Harbour Resort and Marina, but public transportation or shuttle services are also available if you prefer not to drive.

Great property, comfortable beds, spacious living and kitchen area and beautiful views. Would have been helpful to have prior information on where to find parking. Especially for a second car. The property was not ready at 4pm check in and the cleaners (who were using the property parking space) directed us to the available pay parking lot.

Great stay, warning for parking

We had a wonderful stay! The place itself is spacious, can comfortably fit 8-10 people and had all amenities needed. The location and view was also great. Our only complaint was the parking; it comes with one stall included however for a group of 8-10 people more than 1 car is likely. Parking cost us an additional 65 per vehicle for a 2 night stay.

We had a wonderful time! Very well equipped condo! Our only comment would be that we were surprised that it cost 20 per day for our second vehicle to park. We did carpool, but there were six of us, so needed two vehicles. we would certainly think about returning! Thank you!

Beautiful and welcoming!

We stayed in the Sooke area to trap and eat crab. Perfect setting for us. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glassware, etc. Host is very attentive and responsive to texts. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We had two vehicles and there is only one parking spot in the garage. The second vehicle had to be parked up the hill but it wasn’t a big issue. Highly recommend this property for a group of 6-8! 5 stars all around!

The property overlooks the Sooke inlet and the mornings on the deck are wonderful with a cup of coffee in hand. Our family was accommodated comfortably. The suite is well equipped with everything needed to have a " home" cooked meal. We look forward to returning for snoyher stay.

Beautiful new condo on Vancouver Island

Family Fun

We had a great time at this waterfront condo. Clean, roomy, lots of activities—ping pong, pool, darts, hot tub and lots of games. The kitchen is well equipped and there are lots of dishes—including serving bowls and plates. We could have used a little more cutlery but we managed. Great place for family fun!!

Lovely Condo on Sooke Harbour

The property was ideal for our group, 6 adults and a toddler. The unit was clean and very well equipped for your needs. The property is in a beautiful setting with access to the water and close to amenities for dining as well as being centrally located on the West Coast making it easy to get to Port Renfrew and Victoria. Would definite stay here again. Highly recommended.

Won’t be disappointed!

Location was excellent! Great view….got to see the seals from our windows! Local fisherman were awesome and provided us with additional sea life experiences! Walking distance to excellent trails! Host was very helpful and very quick to respond to any questions! 10/10 recommend this place! 7 people stayed there very comfortably. Very comfy beds!

We came to Sooke for a girls weekend with 7 friends, the penthouse was amazing. The best location with a beautiful view. The owner provided some suggestions on activities. We went whale watching which was totally amazing, and only a 5 minute drive. Enjoyed the outside deck for relaxing and having snacks. I would highly recommend this property xo
