The room was solid, the breakfast delicious, but most of all Angela made my stay so lovely and was so accommodating no matter what my needs were. You can’t find service like this in many hotels, and the location is STELLAR. You will find yourself blown away by how convenient most things in the Old Quarter will be staying here.

Room smells cigarette smoke. Not well maintained

The Acoustic Hotel & Spa was amazing. We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and the staff was wonderful. They greeted us at the front door and helped with our luggage. When we checked in they brought us drinks and fresh fruit in the lobby. We had a couples spa package that was so relaxing! The front desk staff greeted us and wished us well every time we left and returned to the property. The rooms were spacious and house keeping kept everything nicely maintained and provided complementary waters, wine, and fruit. Absolutely recommend for anyone visiting Hanoi.

We had a great stay here. Beds extremely comfortable, rooms clean, AC worked, location excellent, quiet when we slept. Staff excellent. Would stay here again!

Booked this hotel after reading the positive reviews but think it has been over-rated. Not a bad hotel but not in the range of 8-10 ratings. I stayed for 3 nights at level 8, the topmost level. While room was spacious, it was not sound proof. Noise from traffic and people could be heard before 6 am. I also found ants in the room - in the bathroom, bedframe, side table. As it was my first time to Hanoi, I thought it would be safer and more convenient booking an airport transfer from the hotel. The quoted price was 18 USD but when I paid at the hotel, it included a 3% surcharge for credit card payment and an exorbitant exchange rate (hotel staff converted from USD to VND on the spot), which ended up with me paying almost 20 USD! I later realised that a Grab trip from airport to the hotel is around 300 VND (12 USD), making me feel that I have been scammed! In summary: Good - location, staff service, spacious room Bad - Cleanliness, noisy, bad currency exchange rate
