Etwas abseits der Hauptachsen gelegen ist die Stadt trotz vieler Sehenswürdigekeiten (Universität, Kirchen, Geschlechtertürme, Paläste, Ticino mit gedeckter Brücke..) nicht von Touristen überlaufen. Die Casa Theodolinda ist zweckmässig und zeitgemäss eingerichtet, hat eine wunderschöne, grosse Terrasse und liegt nahe bei Bahnhof und Stadtzentrum.
