Cabin 2 of "Cabin in the Trees" is located on a wooded hillside. Therare stairs and bridges up the hill to the covered front porch and two Adirondack chairs. Outside there is a concrete patio with a picnic table and a charcoal grill. My favorite aspect of this cabin is when you open the door and see the lovely, knotted pine walls, comfy leather love seat, the electric fireplace, a queen bed, and the French doors leading onto the screened porch with the hot tub and billowy curtains for privacy and that romantic "Out of Africa" atmosphere. There is a well-appointed kitchen with full size stove/oven and refrigerator, and a cafe table with two chairs. The sliding barn door opens to the bathroom with a large shower and wine barrel sink stand.

There is no fire ring and no burning of wood. This cabin is under a canopy of trees.

As listed, there is no cable, satellite, or Wi-Fi. There is an antenna and Blu-ray/DVD player.

Bring your fishing pole! There is catch and release at our pond. We are also 13.5 miles from Legend Valley.

Has potential

This place is so cute and has such great potential, but the cleanliness and health/ safety hazards were hard to look past. The stairs leading up to the cabin are covered in grime and algae, so it was extremely slick and felt unsafe. The inside was not cleaned at all other than the bedding thankfully. Luckily they did provide slippers so we didn’t have to walk barefooted in there and I did come across a broom that I tried to clean up with. We did find a pill of some sort on the floor and some intimate items in the couch that made us pretty uncomfortable. There was also some leftover hair in the shower from a previous renter. This place has such great potential and would of received a better rating if it weren’t for the lack of cleanliness.

Easy and Relaxing

I stayed here with my girlfriend during Lost Lands and it was the perfect spot to rest and recharge. The weather was great and the property was quiet and very relaxing. The hot tub was a great touch for us to enjoy every night. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to lost lands.

Filthy

First impression was not impressive. He opened the cabin and it had such a musty smell, it appears it had not been opened or aired out for this season. The blankets in the ottamon Smelled like urine. On the kitchen counter there was a cockroach. The whole cabin had cobwebs, spiders and did not appear to have been cleaned. I am aware it is in the woods and bugs will happen but not like this. The hot tub was the only thing clean. We would have left early but did not want to waste money, when we got there I had to sweep off the stairs Covered in leaves, it had not been done. We would not return or recommend, we were in cabin 2

Little Cabin in the Woods

If your looking for a quiet little place this is it. We saw all kind of wildlife, my favorite was the momma deer and her two fawns. We wanted a cabin close enough to hocking hills but without all the traffic and chaos that the hocking hills cabins have due to tourism. It was perfect.

Perfect weekend get away

We had a great time at the cabin, nice and relaxing. Victoria and Dave were phenomenal at being there anytime I text them or needed anything at all!! We will be back and rent from them again!! Thank you for being amazing hosts!!

Great little getaway

Had a great lil get away weekend with my wife for our 15 year wedding anniversary. Close to all the attractions and hiking trails which is what we came for . It was small but perfect came with all the basics . Very cozy and the hot tub was great..already telling our friends about it and talking about when we're gonna try to plan our next trip back already.. oh and Dave was pretty cool with a great sense of humor lol

Nice enough but maintainence is required

Dave was nice enough but after a long day, the 45 minute tour of a studio cabin was a little much. Place was clean enough. Shower pan leaked very badily, leaving a puddle on the floor long after the shower was used.

Weekend Getaway

We loved our short weekend getaway. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. We went into town for dinner both nights and enjoyed our meals. The property hosts were extremely nice and responsive. I definitely see a future visit.

The porch

The porch was the best part. We almost didn’t stay, the bathroom had issues with leaking, the hot tub had bugs and the water was dirty. The couch had someone’s clothing in the cushions and it felt over all dirty. We won’t stay there again.
