Brilliant hotel but location was terrible lots of homeless and dodgy characters and long walk from anything would definitely recommend booking something in a safer area closer to Santa Monica or Hollywood. Stay away from this hotels location unless you want to get mugged or have your car broken into.

They Upgraded us to a Suite . The breakfast was outstanding. And The Every Staff member we encountered was incredibly professional and welcoming

Nice hotel. Ideal if you have a car as it’s about a 20min walk to the downtown side of the water. In the process of being updated so restaurant was closed except a smaller selection available at bar/room service. Pool was nice and just needs a little bit of sprucing up to match remodeling. Staff were pleasant but nothing exceeding expectations and barely what you’d expect for hospitality

The presence of a pool is misleading. Small and literally zero pool deck around it. Also wedged in between three buildings and a giant window to the lobby. Literally a fishbowl with no where to relax in the sun. LA is known for the sunshine. Dealbreaker. Otherwise cute-ish hotel. Old.
