「Vogur Country Lodge is in a very remote part of Iceland. The area is stunningly beautiful and this hotel is a perfect place to stay as a gateway to the West and West Fjords. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well staffed by Constantin, who prepared incredible meals. The hotel has a hot tub and a sauna. It's a lovely place to stay. I hope I get a chance to come back!!」

「the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....

"When I arrived, I had some trouble parking because the road in front of the hotel had just been painted and we couldn't park (the hotel staff told me that they hadn't have been informed either), but the reception staff was very cheerful and friendly, which made me feel better. And when I contacted the hotel that I would not be able to check in on time, they kindly responded to my request. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options. If I have the next opportunity to go to Stykkishólmur, I would like to stay here again."
