"Celebrating 20 years of marriage at a beautiful cabin located just a few minutes drive to Beavers Bend State Park and all the activities in the area. Very clean and well designed property to kick back and relax. Kitchen had a dual coffee maker...standard or those k-cups. Also, had everything we needed to fix lunch and dinner. Two types of grills were outside; gas and coals. Inside our children loved the loft area with the foosball table, arcade game, and xbox. Outside the kids went back and forth on the zip-line and the hot tub was nice to use in the evening. They had a TV outside by the hot tub, so we could watch our shows and soak. They had horseshoes and a fire-pit. We checked out Grateful Head Pizza and Abendigos while in the area and both were very good eats, but make sure you call ahead. These places were busy and it was a Monday and Tuesday! The hosts were very responsive and helpful. One odd thing about the properties in this area is they are all really nice cabins, but located on gravel roads, so your vehicles will get a bit dusty. It's just how the area is, so make sure you bring a vehicle you don't mind getting a little dirty. Nothing a carwash won't fix, but I found it humorous that you have these beautiful cabins and folks with nice cars that were covered in dust parked in front of the cabins or at the shops in town. This property is at the top of our VRBO stays!"
