Excellent view from our 2nd floor room, nice little lobby bar area, good breakfast buffet, very good staff. Bed was not the most comfortable, but we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, large bedroom & bathroom, comfy bed, very clean, serviced daily. Good breakfast choice. Disappointed that the roof top bar was closed for 4 nights out of our 7. Disappointed that there wasn’t a balcony to sit out on. Great staff and brilliant location.

For years we have stayed in either the Preluna or the Plaza hotel. Bringing groups over from the UK for diving. I want to thank all the staff at the Diplomat for there excellent service and top hospitality during our stay. I will definitely be coming back in 2027 to the Diplomat. And bringing guests with us.

The location is wonderful, right across the street from the ocean. Friendly staff, great breakfast, lovely pool. Complimentary wine, snacks, and water in the room, along with bathrobes and slippers! There is also a bar upstairs by the pool which serves food throughout the day and has entertainment several nights a week. A great hotel and would definitely stay again!

The hotel is in a great location and is only a 15 minute walk to the ferries for both Gozo and Valletta. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping was second to none, always cleaned the room and changed the towels every two days. The breakfast which was included in our package was suitable for everyone with fresh fruit, hot cooked food and plenty of hot drinks.

Great hotel. We had a spacious triple room which was clean and had everything we needed. The reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast was ok, the first morning was incredibly busy and staff were not helpful in finding tables for guests or asking people to wait until tables were available, there were many people walking about with breakfast but no table to sit at. The other mornings were less busy so no issues in getting a table at breakfast. The pool area was nice, it could be improved by having the bar open for drinks/snacks. Overall a lovely stay!

Everything was wonderful. The room was spacious, with a direct sea view, and fully equipped. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel's location is fantastic, easily accessible from there to most areas of Mata by bus. Most importantly, the reception and restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The hotel has an excellent location with a frontal view of the Mediterranean Sea. The included breakfast buffet is varied and delicious! The staff is kind and helpful and the music in the rooftop terrace was awesome! Overall, a great value!
