Check in was poor as there was no one there to check-in with and we had to wait for some time, then we were unable to go to the room as there had been a power outtage and the room would be ready in about 30 minutes and they'd message us. Over an hour later, with cold food needing refrigeration, still no message, and no idea where the room was as we were waved in a general direction and told a parking spot number that had been taken already. The room itself was lovely overall, but it was unbearably hot and no internet available. After 3 hours of reaching out with whatsapp and the property app, we still had no response. Other guests had gathered at the check in with similar issues and no communication, noting this was a common issue prior to the power outtage so in giving benefit of the doubt with major power concerns, it seemed this was poorly organized, including front gate security as there were no directions provided as it had said in the guest app. Beyond these major issues, smaller details would benefit from correction, with highlights on installing a shelf anywhere in or near the shower to be able to access shower essentials as these had to be placed on the floor and there were no replacement trash bags or instructions for the washer and dryer.

Cleaning staff only came once for the week but didn't speak English. Our pool was malfunctioning. We lost power for a day when I asked them to fix the pool. Not sure if it was related. The host never responded personally to my messages or concerns. More than several times I called the phone number nooone. answered. The bathrooms smelled like raw sewage. There was food half eaten in the fridge and cabinets that were not ours when we checked in. The kitchen was stocked with utensils. No garbage bags, paper towels, or soap was provided though besides bathroom hotel bars of soap. There was construction on weekdays. My son stepped on a rusty nail thankfully it didn't go through his foot. There were several other nails found by us and discarded. Cigerette butts all around bc of construction. Our parking space had someone or a construction crate parked in it the whole time so we had to park a few more down. Washer from upstairs was loud. Beds were comfortable, pillows are too big. The appartment has very good potential. The beach and area are beautiful.

While the location and surroundings were great, the unit itself could use improvement. First, the living room and patio furniture consists entirely of metal-framed IKEA chairs/loveseats with thin cushions... not particularly comfortable or great for relaxing in after a warm day at the beach/pool (ie no large cushioned sofas as pictured). We were told there would be a change of bed linen mid-week but this did not occur. We would have appreciated a brochure or document left in the unit outlining details such as how to access the wifi quickly/easily (we figured it out eventually), where to dispose of garbage, a physical map of the premises/nearby facilities, etc. Finally, and most importantly, since arriving we've noticed an unpleasant odour emanating from each bathroom. We left the bathroom doors open each day hoping it was a temporary issue but it was not until today that we realized the source of the smell was the wall-mounted toilet brush holder in each bathroom. Not sure if cleaning/sterilizing of the brushes/containers is done between bookings but it certainly should be. We were told there would be a change of linens mid-week but this did not occur. We would have appreciated a brochure or document left in the unit outlining details such as how to access the wifi quickly/easily (we figured it out eventually), where to dispose of garbage, a physical map of the premises/nearby facilities, etc.

Very nice condo. We have a complimentary upgrade to 3 bdr penthouse. Which is nice. Spacious place for 2 couples. It is a kind of vrbo, but they provide a beach towels and you can change them every day. Kitchen full of dishes and everything. But you have to buy food, salt, sugar and coffee capsules, that feet to their coffee machine. Even dish soap you have to buy. Private beach, the distance 10-15 min walk, we used to drive mostly. Free sunbed and ambarellas. Everything was good, only we do not like one thing - stop-control to check your entry code to get car access to the complex. Sometimes 15 min waiting line during the day, in the evening line is faster. Nice beach for snorkeling, We saw new fish at the rocks on the right to the ocean from beach.

It was very good. The only thing to add, is the furniture on the terrace does not at all reflect the photo. They have many units for rental, and our terrace furniture was not confortable at all. The same observation was made from other tourists renting other units.

Beautiful view, lots of walking. The room was filled with mosquitoes, and there were no washcloths available when we arrived or floor mats. The staff was helpful to an extent. They will not provide much assistance if you are not staying past 4 days.

We loved our penthouse room at The Reef. It had everything we needed and the lanai/view was out of this world. It’s a short drive from golf, groceries, several beaches and Willemstad. Somehow, we did not get the memo that there was a very information app to use until check out, so that was disappointing to say the least. We cannot wait to go back again.

El departamento es bonito y cómodo. Queda en un condominio realmente lindo y con playa privada. Estuvimos 5 días y no realizaron limpieza. Tuvimos problemas con el sensor de incendio, sonaba a cada rato hasta que lo desconectaron. Sugerencia: poner más copas de vino de cristal o vidrio.

I recommend 1000000 %, I absolutely lovedddd my stay here !!!! It was an amazing experience! The room was so nice! It was peaceful but also near everything you need. The beach on the property is beautiful. I was welcomed by Crystal who was so patient and kind she was very knowledgeable about the property and was able to assist us during our entire visit. Every time I had a concern it was acknowledged and it made my stay so smooth. Angela was also the absolute best! She was so accommodating and understanding and I truly do appreciate her assistance as well during my stay! I will surely be coming back and I thank everyone for welcoming me to this beautiful island and enhancing my experience in Curacao. To everyone I encountered may you all always be well.

Wir haben The Reef Terrasse #26 gebucht und es war fantastisch. Der Checkin mit Coral & Coco verlief absolut top, Late checkout nach Absprache möglich (10$ pro Stunde). Sowohl das Apartment mit toller Terrasse als auch der Pool mit Palmen und immer genug Schatten, waren traumhaft schön. Man muss allerdings wissen, dass es 2 unterschiedliche Schlafzimmer sind. 1 Master-Bedroom mit ensuite Bad und ein kleineres Schlafzimmer mit Bad direkt über dem Flur. Sehr bequeme Betten, und ich bin da wirklich anspruchsvoll. Außerdem gibt es eine gut ausgestattete Küche (Achtung: Kühlschrank ohne Eiswürfel-Maker, aber genug Eiswürfel-Schalen vorhanden). Es gibt auch einen kleinen Nebenraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner, Wäscheständer, Pool-Nudeln, Taucherbrillen/Schnorchel, Kühlbox, etc… Die Klima funktioniert einwandfrei. Es ist der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen. Trotz Bauarbeiten nebenan (Oktober 2025), die uns kaum gestört haben. Ich würde The Reef Terrace jederzeit wieder buchen!

The condo was gorgeous and the salt water pool was great (just needs cleaning). Kitchen area is really nice. What you need to know: They give you limited electricity here and charge you for every bit you go over. This isn’t disclosed until you get to the hotel for check-in and they have already taken your money. It’s not easy to find the check-in office. Make sure to download WhatsApp as that’s their main form of communication with you. There was gym-like fitness center (only a pay for yoga like services place that cost extra). The food options were not good. We liked the pizza stand and ice cream stand. As far as meals the food quality wasn’t good. The staff at the food places aren’t attentive and you have to go out of your way to get their attention to sit, get menus, and order. there were problems in the condo - WiFi was broken for 4 days and the staff kept trying to tell me it was working. Was day 5 into a 7 day stay before they would get someone out to fix it. The curtain blinds are necessary to sleep as your bed is right beside windows where people walk to the condo. The curtain blind was broken and only fixed a day before we left. The sink was stopped up before our arrival (which they asked if we broke). The safe never worked. The worst part is they walk the place before/after every tenant to make sure things aren’t broken and in need of repair. However they never identify these things. Then when we reported it they would ask if we broke these things.
