"Old school premium service in wonderful older hotel setting. Some bits a bit dated in the room but with a certain charm. Informal restaurant very good as was bar, didn’t try other one. Old halllovleyfor late night drink. Thank you"

"Stayed for business, very good indeed and made a nice change from the traditional chains. WiFi worked great, shower was great, staff very friendly, room had some nice lighting touches. The only thing which was slightly inconvenient was the renewal of parking each day. Stayed for 3 nights but can only pay / book every 24 hours which either means you have to remember each day and / or watch the times. Arrived at 4pm, paid for 24 hours but then had to renew the following morning first thing as I wouldn’t have been back to the hotel in time later in the day. Would be far more convenient to be able to pay for the full duration up front, one less thing to worry about but overall that’s a minor thing, especially if you remember to do it!"
