8.4/10 Very Good! (352 reviews)
Upon arrival we were greeted by an empty “lobby” that lacks a check in desk. After wandering around and waiting a while, I opened a door labeled laundry where a young woman was standing on the other side watching us from a monitor on her tablet. We called several times while trying to check in with no answer on the number listed. The pool and outdoor area were much dingier than pictured. The room was fine and the bed was reasonably comfortable. We did have to ask for towels each day as no one ever came to clean our room. Overall, there are much better places to stay in Palm Springs within the same budget. I personally wouldn’t choose Royal Sun a second time based purely on their lack of customer service and support. We purchased resort passes to other properties and would highly recommend anyone staying at Royal Sun do the same.

"Very disappointing experience! We stayed for one night and booked two rooms. One of the rooms had no TV. We reported the issue to the front desk, but they said the hotel was fully booked and promised a 20% refund. We even reminded the staff about the refund at check-out, but nothing was done afterward. ..."
