「We stayed at The Cottage on our trip from Ohio to Hilton Head. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was exceptionally clean and perfect for our group of 7. We were able to enjoy The Toucan Lounge restaurant just 10 minutes away on Lake Norman. Highly recommend this rental. Communication with the owner was great.」

「Our stay was great. The home has been updated nicely and the perfect size for our traveling family. We traveled with our family dog, so the fenced in yard was nice also. Only negative was The neighbors were loud at night which woke up the dog and occasionally the kids. As long as you’re not traveling with light sleeping children I think you would be okay. Kitchen had coffee pot and microwave; lots of extra pillows and blankets for beds. Thank you!」

「The Blue Door Cottage is a wonderful get-a-way. The guesthouse is warm and inviting. The grounds are beautiful. The pictures on the site are on point. Our family enjoyed walking to see the neighbors' alpaca and horses. Would definitely recommend.」

「This little place is wonderful. We had a great time...We are a family of 5, and we all fit comfortably in the home. There is plenty of space for sleeping, and considering that the cottage isn't huge, the daybeds with trundles did not make it feel cluttered or tight. We loved access to the washer and dryer. The retro feel of the kitchen was a major highlight - loved the red fridge! :) Appreciated the coffee...Also liked that there were pans (baking included!) to make snacks like pizza and...
