The Space:
You’ll fall in love with the quaint balcony overlooking a hidden forest trail, natural light flooding in, and functional and easy to use fireplace.  This romantic escape is perfect for a couple’s retreat, small family vacation, or girls weekend!  Located in a gated mountain community, you’ll feel safe and secure while still having all the benefits of breathing in the wild mountain air! Located in the sought-after mountain community of Bretz Mill, this beautiful cabin condo has it all. Walking distance to multiple hiking trails for all levels, a beautiful creek, picnic tables, horse shoe pits, a fabulous meadow, and many spots to enjoy snow and sun. The center of the community contains a pool, spa, and clubhouse.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to everything the Shaver Escape has to offer. The pool and spa are seasonal.

The Neighborhood:
Just outside of the hustle and bustle located south of the town of Shaver Lake, the cabin is a short 5-10 minute drive to restaurants and the lake. Walk to hiking trails, climbing, stream fishing, horse shoe pits, and more.

Getting Around:
We suggest using your own vehicle to get around. Make sure you stay updated with road conditions. In the winter, 4WD/chains may be required by CHP.

Other Things to Note:
Remember to keep an eye on your weather app to be prepared for all your mountain adventures. Snow chains are required during and after winter storms. Our cabin was NOT affected by the recent wildfires. The cabin is located in a gated mountain community of privately owned condos.

Going upstairs is required to access the bedroom.
There is a pull out sofa bed and an ottoman pull out single bed located in the living room.

Interaction with Guests:
We are available between 8am- 9pm.
