"I don't think there are enough wonderful things to say about both the home and our overall experience! First, YES, it is right on the water. Absolutely incredible!!!!! The home is more than beautiful. In fact, I believe that it might be one of the most thoughtfully designed houses we have ever had the pleasure to rent. Not a single bit of wasted space. So easy to navigate--beautifully stocked--impeccably clean. It is so spacious feeling and comfortable. The design made it feel far larger than it actually was. From watching tv in the main room on the comfy couch to cooking meals in the beautifully organized kitchen to simply sitting on the deck watching the mighty ocean--everything was perfect! Check in a breeze--beds comfy--perfection! I want to note that we had business in San Francisco every day, and it was a super convenient location for getting to and from quickly. Without question we will be back! Bravo Cathy!"

"Very old motel, but right by the beach. My room had an ant problem- the bathroom had no ventilation fan, and the window was stuck in an open position. As such, I would leave for the day and come back to dozens of ants all over the walls and ceiling. I took video and many pictures, but Expedia won't allow video posts, and the quality of photos turned out not as helpful, since the ants were diffused over the room and not concentrated. I wanted to speak to the hotel staff, but our hours did not overlap to speak with them in person, so I decided to take care if it myself with bait traps. That worked, but it definitely out me off from considering a rebooking in the future."

"I was really disappointed with my weekend stay at this property. The hotel feels very outdated, and unfortunately it didn’t deliver on any of the experiences I was hoping for—especially considering the high weekend rate (close to $300 per night). I was looking forward to enjoying a partial ocean view, relaxing in the indoor pool when it got chilly outside, and unwinding in the jacuzzi. However, none of these met expectations. The jacuzzi in particular was not functioning, and although staff seemed aware of the issue, they kept suggesting I “fill it up and submerge the jets,” which didn’t make sense—the unit didn’t appear to even be connected to power. There were also several basic maintenance and safety concerns in the room, including a missing hair dryer, a deadbolt that wouldn’t lock, and missing window lock latches. When I raised the jacuzzi issue, I was told a manager would follow up, but I never heard back, which was frustrating and disappointing. Given the price point, I cannot recommend staying here. There are far better options available at this rate. I would only consider returning if the nightly rate were significantly lower like $50."

"This was the perfect retreat for our micro-wedding celebration. The location is perfect; steps from Pacifica pier and sharp park beach. Our guests were able to walk the beach and find plenty of lunch and coffee options nearby. Lance was a great communicator and was able to help me with a few special requests (a larger table, and some supplies). He even went above and beyond when we had a maintenance issue during our stay. He even left us some champagne and a card of congratulations for our nuptials. This space is perfect for intergenerational parties; half of the Vrbo is on the first floor and accessible for folks with mobility issues. And can we talk about the kitchens? Fully equipped and then some! Both kitchens had plenty of dishes and equipment to cook for our group. We've created memories to last a lifetime and this location was the perfect backdrop. If you're thinking of booking this location, this is your sign to DO IT!"

"Even though this house is in kind of a busy area, because of the way it is off the main road and by itself, it was actually very quiet and peaceful. Everything inside was updated nicely and very clean. We enjoyed the outside space as well and were glad to have it to wash off and dry sand covered items. Getting to the actual beach was a bit more of a hike than we anticipated, but we got there just fine and enjoyed our time right next to the Pacific. The host was quick to respond to questions and willing to be helpful. It was a great place to stay."
