Remodeled House with new Pool! Walk to beach on the Bay! Minutes to Beaches!

Attention: If you have more than 6 persons, or want to use the separate Cabana in the backyard there is an extra fee. Not much, usually only $50-$65 per night plus tax, $50 cleaning and any VRBO fees. VRBO does not have ability for a nightly fee for 1 to 3 extra persons, only a fee for EACH extra person. I only charge extra for the Cabana and NOT by number of persons. Therefore, if you book with more than 6 persons, I shall message you back with the cost for the Cabana. Or just contact me before booking and I will quote the extra charge. The Cabana which can house 3 persons. Note that if you do not use the Cabana, we do not rent out it separately while you are here. You will have full privacy to enjoy the house, yard and pool all to yourselves.

The Area:
The house is only 6 miles from the beautiful Emerald Coast beach on the Gulf and only 150 feet from a small, secluded beach in our neighborhood on the bay (see the pictures)! We are also only 1,200 feet from another public beach on the bay that has a free boat ramp for smaller boats! There are at least 5 other boat launches nearby for larger boats. One of them is in the neighborhood! Nearby are state parks, museums, 3 golf courses, the Gulfarium Marine park, Okaloosa pier, Okaloosa island beach access, Destin Harbor walk, putt-putt golf courses, go cart tracks, adventure park, and MANY fun things to do within 15-minute drive! If you adventure further, you can drive down scenic 30A to Panama City or to Navarre and Pensacola to the West. I recommend you check out the many Destin travel videos on YouTube. One in particular by Tampa Aerial Media has a Destin travel video that is extremely detailed and even shows you the prices of the various activity and event options.

The Home:
The home is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with absolutely no through traffic. Great for your peace, relaxation and safety of your children. This home was recently totally remodeled and is FULLY furnished for your vacation! Large 2,100 square ft home with 3 bedrooms for 6 persons. As stated above, 3 more persons can stay in the Cabana for a very reasonable additional fee! Master has a large King bed. Second bedroom with a Queen and third bedroom with 2 twins. Two bathrooms. The master has a walk-in shower. Massive open area with kitchen, dining room and living room combined for plenty of room to spread out. Large washer and dryer in house.

The Pool and Backyard:
We did a Pool remodeling last year! The old pool was 10 feet deep and a hazard. This new one is only 4 1/2 ft at the deep end. Perfect and safe for the entire family. I do however, REQUIRE THAT ALL ADULT GUESTS SIGN A SAFETY AND RELEASE WAIVER. See rental agreement for details. The outbuilding has its own bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower for your use when enjoying the pool. There are several chairs, tables and area to spread out by the pool or under cover by the back of the house. The charcoal grill is available for your use as well.

Need Extra Space? A separate mini-apartment Cabana!
If you have more than 6 guests, you can also rent the newly built cabana (mini apartment) by the pool for small additional fee. It can hold up to 3 additional persons with a Queen bed and pullout sofa. The cabana has its own in wall AC unit, refrigerator, sink, TV, microwave and coffee pot, with downstairs bathroom. If you book for more than 6 persons you will get an additional charge (previously mentioned).

Other Amenities:
You get much more than any standard rental. The remodeled kitchen not only has all what you would expect but also includes extra amenities such as air fryer, rice cooker, 2 coffee machines, crock pot, and MANY cooking containers and utensils. Cupboard is full of pots, pans, dishes and everything you would have at home, plus more! You can borrow an extra fold-out table for your grilling. I also have probably dozen beach towels, a beach umbrella, floaties, inner tubes, several coolers and plenty of extras you can borrow for the pool or the beach!

As mentioned, you MUST read the rental agreement! This is designed for your safety and ours. By making a reservation, you agree to the terms. In addition, when your party arrives, we will meet you and ALL adults in your party will be required to sign.
