「We only stayed for 2 quick nights, but the property is lovely and impeccably maintained. The fact that the owner, Phil, is onsite and shares his personal cell phone is great. They also share a different text line for any needs that arise during your stay. We were able to get to various parts of the Cape for meals etc very easily. The pool was closed as it was off season, but they have a great area with a fire pit and several Adirondack chairs that was a nice bonus. Would certainly return to this...

「We had a great stay, but were very disappointed that the outdoor pool was not available because a wedding was happening in the tent next to it. When we checked in, we asked about pools and were specifically told that the outdoor one was open for a couple more hours, so we rushed over. The property overall is lovely, very peaceful.」

「I arrived in the room and the heat was not working. The office is not staffed overnight at this time of the year, so I had to reach out to the emergency line. After several phone calls, a space heater was brought to the room. That device was 1) not going to heat the room thoroughly and 2) was not safe to be running in a room overnight- especially a room with a child in it. It took over a dozen phone calls to get moved to a new room and that was not until almost 11 PM. I would NOT recommend...

「Beautiful place with a great view and a very peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is old and rustic, but that’s also part of its charm. If you’re looking for an authentic seaside style experience, it’s warm and cozy and fits the vibe perfectly. However, the beach right in front of the hotel is probably the dirtiest in the area. There were many dead marine animal and seaweeds remains along the shore and which made it unpleasant to walk on or fully enjoy. For nicer beaches, expect about a 20-minute...

Right across the street from beautiful Bass River, this family run hotel is one of my favorite places to stay on the Cape. It's not big and fancy, just a pleasant place to stay and reasonably priced. 」

「Parking was easy and the room was clean. I found that the white towels were quite gray and some were actually stained. I think the towels could use replacing. I have recommended Rodeway in the past, but I am a bit hesitant now because of the shabby towels. Respectfully 」
