We were looking for a private place to relax and this was perfect for us. Very private yet close enough to the attractions in Pigeon Forge. We would stay again!
The host responded quickly to all communications. I would say this property provided all the basics at the absolute minimum level. It is at the back of a holler which was quiet and there was plenty of space to walk our dogs.Unfortunately, the cleaning prior to our visit wasn’t great. The spare pillows & blankets were just laying on the floor inside the closet on the old/marginally clean carpet and one of the spare throw blankets had something on it from a previous guest. The main room of the house is large and with some more comfortable seating options could be great! I would recommend removing the two leather futons and replacing with fold out sofas/loveseats. Futons do two things and don’t do either of them comfortably in my opinion. When we arrived it was dark and we were a little un-nerved to find a vehicle parked under the carport immediately outside the front door. We had a moment where we thought someone was there. Just would’ve been nice to have been told it would be there, or have it parked somewhere else because it did make for a tight fit with our medium sized SUV everyday getting in and out.ALL THAT SAID…With some improvements to the cleanliness and comfort, we would stay here again
What an amazing place to stay! Floorplan is completely open and spacious easy for me to have my dogs crates and not feel cramped that they could still play with my daughter. Bed is super comfy. So neat watching the few cars you do see go around the curves below especially at night. So relaxing and the peacefulness you will feel into your soul! Quick family trip from the mitten to have a great time and stay after the busy holidays. Walt the property manager was very informative, & helpful every step of the way! Thank you Tennessee for another trip that was fun for my whole family including my pups!

There were no smoke alarms hooked up. They were laying on the counters with no batteries. The instructions said to put trash in the bear proof container, but it was full so we had to haul our trash to the county garbage center. The thermostat was controlled by the owner so even when we turned it to 70, it dropped down to 64 overnight which is too cold for people our age.
