  • Our spacious SECLUDED-yet close-to-everything cabin in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains has two large bedrooms with NEW KING beds and SWEEPING mountain views. It's not like the other cabins - it is PRIVATE! Mature woodlands form a stunning backdrop to our private yet ultra convenient and updated cabin.

    Start your morning sipping hot coffee on the wrap around porch and come home to stargaze with the setting sun in the hot tub with no one in sight. You won’t find a better place to relax, unwind with your favorite beverage and enjoy what the Smokey Mountains area has to offer.

    Our CLEAN private cabin has two separate bedrooms, both with new KING beds, and two full JUST RENOVATED bathrooms. Guest bath has a tub/shower while the primary bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower. Both bathrooms have all brand new fixtures including sinks, bowls, lights, and linens.

    The huge kitchen is fully equipped. With large flat screen smart TV's, this cabin is the real deal.

    NEW UPDATES include stainless steel kitchen appliances and wood floors in both bedrooms, new queen-size sofa bed and mattress, new LR furniture, new bathrooms, new kitchenware, stocked with everything you need to prepare meals or simply reheat, including a family size crock pot. New work space table and chairs added for remote work and learning.

    A short drive- less than five miles-to downtown Pigeon Forge and easily accessible to several Great Smokey Mountain National Park's entrances, Pigeon Forge attractions (4.5 miles), the Island, The Smokey Man Distillery, Gatlinburg (14 miles), Dollywood (9 miles). Everything is convenient to access.

Nancy and Frank’s cabin is beautiful. It was spacious for only having 2 bedrooms. It had all the basic necessities and the beds were comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch in the rockers listening to the peaceful sounds of nature and the hot tub was wonderful to relax in. It’s a short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinburg. The roads to get to the cabin are steep and so is the driveway but they were manageable. Would most likely need 4wheel drive if there were ice or snow. Nancy was very responsive when we had a question also. Overall a wonderful stay and would stay again.

Great secluded place

Cabin is nice and location a is perfect. Wish there was a direct door leading to hot tub instead of having to walk across deck . Bedrooms were great sized and overall great experience

Seclusion at its Finest

Took my boyfriend down there for the first time and absolutely loved the area. We even had a daily visitor, which made for some adventures! Cabin is simple but for the amount of time we spent there, had what we needed. Hosts were super responsive when communicating with them!

Perfect cabin in the woods

My son and I had a wonderful time staying in this cabin! It was so clean! The location is up in the mountains with some steep climbs, but it’s really easy to get to and a great location for getting to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and surrounding areas. Nancy is very communicative and was a great host. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway

Our stay was so relaxing! The hot tub was great. The house was very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck in the morning and evening. We were even visited by a mother bear and her 3 cubs. Our host were very quick to respond to any questions.

Quiet Getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. This cabin was very clean and updated. It is secluded, in a quiet area... just 2 cabins seen through the woods. Communication with Nancy was timely and very much appreciated. We have nothing bad to say and will stay again, when in the area.

Great cabin. Very clean and good communication with the owners. Rocking chair front porch was nice. No issues with the drive up. Road is paved so no problem getting to the cabin. We'd love to stay here again.

Good Location

Beds were a little firm for us. The shower's hot water did not last very long for my husband and I both to take a nice hot shower. This home is in a good location and a quite area. Overall, we enjoyed are stay.

The cabin was perfect. Very private. We enjoyed the hot tub. The road to the cabin after dark was quite difficult to navigate. Many different roads. We did see a bear on our last evening.

Perfect Stay!

My husband and I visited for the weekend and was so impressed with how clean this home was. Booking information is spot on, communication with Nancy was a breeze and check in & out super easy. Shagbark is a quiet little community and the cabin is private; you can see 2 other cabins through the woods, but they are not right next to you. My only suggestion would be to have a covered structure over the hot tub for rainy days. We would definitely book again!!

Beautiful and Secluded

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The description is accurate and exceeded expectations. We even extended our stay an additional night! Great cabin in the Smokie Mountains

My husband and I stayed in this cabin for one week to visit the Smokie Mountains. The area is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is very private. Lots of wildlife in the area. Plenty of deer, turkeys and also we saw a bear. If you enjoy seclusion and privacy this cabin is for you. Beds are comfortable. The host was very easy to reach. Plenty of things to do in the area. Would love to visit again in the fall. Will be back again.

Relaxing

We loved this cabin it was so relaxing and quite. Just what we needed to unwind and rest. It is private. The bed was comfortable and everything was well stocked and as advertised. I’d love to come back with all my supplies for a week and just stay and relax. I could find nothing to complain about other than I had to leave. Check in and out was so easy.
