This place is bang in the middle of Myeongdong shopping district. Tons of places to shop and eat. Easy access to the metro network as well. We had an excellent stay at the place. They receptionist was very kind and was always ready to answer our questions. Room was a bit smaller than shown in the pics. If you are okay with that, this is an excellent choice for single and couple travellers

I enjoyed my stay at OYO hostel Myeongdong 1. I will most definitely return and get a private room. Having a private room made a big difference and I was able to get a good night’s sleep. It was a bit dated but still you get good value for your money in Seoul. It was also a quiet and safe place. I will recommend this property and several other OYOs in Seoul.

Cozy and comfortable place to stay

The hostel is very welcoming and has offered snacks as small gifts upon check in and check out. There is complimentary breakfast everyday (toast and tea or coffee) which is heartening. They also offer laundry service at affordable fee per basket which is great, no need being too much luggage. Would like to commend a staff named 美成，very helpful and friendly to tourists. Room is a little small for 2 people but manageable. Overall is great and would consider staying again. (:

Location is the best. Right in the middle of myeongdong and 6 mins walk to bus and train. Food and shopping right downstairs. Rooms are small. Bathroom is toilet and shower in one. So if you need more space, may not be the best option for you. Travelled as a couple and we could navigate two large pieces with a carry on in the room i.e. take what you need and keep them closed to make space. Also, the rooms have heated floors and was very nice and comfortable in winter. Also, they have laundry services too.

It’s actually really near myeongdong station that has escalator excess. Plus just a turn in from the main shopping street in myeongdong. Do not trust google map to find it, use kakao or Naver map instead! It’s right above a bbq restaurant but no smell (in winter). Have to climb a small flight of stairs to excess the lift to the main floor though.

Very convenient centrally located stay in Myeongdong, right next to a convenience store. The room is a bit cramped for two people but manageable. The walls are also quite thin but other guests are usually quiet. Free basic breakfast is provided as well. I would certainly consider staying again.

Muito bom, a localização é de fácil acesso ao metro e outras atrações da cidade. O atendimento de Simon foi muito cordial e eu agradeço. 工作人員非常熱情，會盡量幫助我們解答問題，尤其多謝女工作人員，她還幫我尋找附近的景點。房間整潔乾淨，唯一缺點就是隔音比較差，會間中聽到隔籬房的聲音。不過整體來說還是非常愉快，期待下次的入住。

場所は明洞で非常に便利。街中にも関わらず、騒音などほぼなく静かに眠れた。 ただ部屋はとてつもなく狭い。 そしてバストイレも狭い。 この価格でこの狭さか…と思った。 朝食の無料サービスがあり、２日とも利用した。チェックインとチェックアウト時にお菓子のお土産がもらえた。

先ず部屋の広さは写真の通りです。縦にベッドのみ(写真)。ドライヤー、スリッパなどの清潔感も人によっては難しいかと。タオルも足ふきタオルみたいなのが1枚。いくら円安とはいえ、、。良いのは立地です。

値段も安く部屋の広さなど期待はしていませんでしたが、キャリーケースを広げられるくらい広く、オンドル(韓国式床暖房)もついており寒いこともありませんでした。 スタッフの方も優しく笑顔で挨拶してくださいます。朝食は利用していないのでわかりませんが、軽く済ませる程度なら充分なメニューだと思います。 エレベーターに乗るまでに数段(5〜6段)、階段があるのでそこが気にならない方ならオススメします！ チェックイン、チェックアウト時にプレゼントもありとても嬉しかったです♪
