"We hadn’t been to Ashore in 8 years and was really looking forward to this trip because we had fond memories there. Things are definitely run down from our last visit and when we checked in, the lady working the front desk was not very friendly. For breakfast, you need to fill out a form and turn it in the day before and if I had not asked, we wouldn’t have known because we weren’t informed at check in. The decorative pillows and blankets had stains and the community ice freezer was empty the whole time we were there. It was disappointing and we will be staying elsewhere on our next trip to Seaside. "
