We loved this spot. The views were amazing, and it was perfect for the two of us and our pup. So appreciated the amenity passes being included. Loved the beach pool and restaurant. Very peaceful vacation. Only issue was every time we used the washing machine, it gave an error code, even with two items. Other than that it was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. Ty

We had a very relaxing stay. The condo was charming. We loved having breakfast on the deck and watching the deer each morning. Seabrook is a gem. It's the perfect place to slow down and enjoy quality family time. Sidenote: There were wasp making a nest outside on the deck. We didn't see any spary so we called maintenance. He said he would come and spray, but never did.

Pelican Watch Villa October beach vacation

The most serene and quiet beach vacation location ever! The sunsets at Pelican Watch Villas were just awesome! Its a quick walk on the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. Excellent accomodations. Unit was exceptionally clean and nicely furnished. Seabrook Island is beautiful. The only negative comment ia that it was at least a 30 or 40 min drive to destinations such as shopping and restaurants outside of Seabrook Island. Fresh Fields grocery store was convenient and a bit of a drive from Pelican Watch Villas. Will consider returning and recommending this location if you want a quiet relaxing getaway. .

Mom & Dad getaway

Absolutely loved this little place..VERY clean..floor wasn't sandy..Loved that there were little extras of different things that most rentals don't offer..(towels, toilet paper, ziploc bags) There were also beach chairs and an umbrella available as well..I do wish there was full beach access to walk to the Pelicans Nest Restaurant and pool..My only complaints would be that the bed was quite hard and could use a softer mattress topper, even though listing says its new, and that you can hear every footstep from above renters/tenants. We would definitely stay again, but in season because the Capt Sams pool bar was closed and they have the best frozen drinks.

Pet Friendly at the beach

The villa was a great place for the family over an extended weekend with the family dog in tow. It was spacious, and had all the necessary amenities to make a stay at the beach lovely.

Place itself is great, property management not so much

The property itself is clean and right on beach. The couch is a little past its life, and for the price, should be replaced. The biggest complaint is with the property management company. I own a short term rental myself and was disappointed how coastal getaways manages this property. The emails are convoluted, instead of having specific emails for property or site you book through, they are a bit lazy and just use a single generic email to cover all which is a bit confusing. After booking, then the additional fees start, such as fee for gate pass, fee for the so called included amenity card, etc. it felt like every week a new email and fee came on top of confusion as to what extra step I needed to fulfill before check in date or risk loosing additional money. They should step up, put the effort into making cost straight forward and include into the nightly rate as well as putting together dedicated emails for each property that also pertains to site you booked through.

Rude People

The people upstairs were very noisy, stomping on the floor. Sounds like they were moving furniture around we got no rest. We did call and complaint but no one did anything about it. That was the first night the second night the same thing started happening we cut our stay short and came back home. After years of coming to Seabrook this is the worst experience I've ever had not just Seabrook but from anywhere I've ever travel. This was a very unpleasant wasted trip. With no rest or relaxation. This was not Nancy's fault that we booked with. It all had to do with the folks upstairs.

Quite the Gem

We had so much fun! The Villa fit our needs perfectly. I messaged the owner regarding the one shower and it was fixed rather quickly. Also, Seabrook Island has so much to offer. We did travel with our 9 1/2 year old silver lab and it was nice she could be on the beach all day with us. It was great that the listing mentioned a beach bonfire. Never had that opportunity to do a bonfire on any of our vacations but we did it on this one and it was awesome. Great place! Would highly recommend!

Great space that offers no worries

1391 Pelican Watch Villa is a wonderful one-bedroom condo unit with fantastic beach access right out the back porch and down the boardwalk. The unit was very clean and all necessities were on hand. I relied on going out to nearby restaurants for all meals but the kitchen was adequately equipped if I had desired to cook. The only gripe I have is this unit is ground level and I could hear every footstep taking place in the unit directly above throughout my stay. It was mildly distracting on a couple of occasions, but only because we experienced a few rainy days during the week and had to be indoors. The beach access is wonderful and offers plenty of space for the small amount of folks staying in the Pelican Watch area. If you need to "get away" from your regular life and truly relax this condo will definitely provide!

Quiet getaway

Pleasantly surprised by the quiet location, and we loved being able to walk to the river directly from the unit. Perfect for our dog. Nice to have 2 full baths in this lovely one-bedroom unit. Our only disappointment was not being able to walk on the sand all the way around to the ocean side, because of the erosion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well appointed condominium. It is located at the far end of Seabrook much closer to Kiawah river inlet and the beach is very private. Our only complaint was weather didn’t cooperate, but our stay was great.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful time at Seabrook! This was our third visit but our first stay at this property. It is beautiful! So well stocked and decorated. Thoughtful touches like nightlight’s. It was so easy to take our Yorkie for a walk just a few steps out of the villa. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I had a perfect getaway. The property was everything we hoped it would be. The back porch is right at the boardwalk to the beach, and best of all we were able to bring our dog. We got to see the dolphins right along the beach on multiple occasions. I didn't realize the kitchen was as fully stocked as it was, which made cooking easy when we stayed in. And there was even firewood for a beach fire which we did on our last night. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely Seabrook Oasis.

We simply love Seabrook Island and 1391PW!! Over the course of the last 4 years, it's become our calm, sweet oasis and we hope to return each year for as long as is possible!! The views are simply stunning and the beach is fabulous! For the most part, it was extremely quiet during our stay this year and the whole experience was relaxing!! We LOVED that Seabrook Club did a Dogtober Pool get together while we were here, and that our labradoodle, Skye, got to participate. She enjoyed jumping in the pool and playing with other dogs (the pool was going to be drained for the year and that allowed doggies to enjoy it before doing so ---people brought bags of dogwood to be donated to Humane Society). THE only problems we had with the unit were that the dryer needed repeated uses in order to get clothes dry (something's up with it???), and the Wi-Fi seemed spotty. We got our iPhones connected, but our Skye's Whistle (which uses wifi) struggled some.....and my MacBook Pro would never connect to the Wifi (I've NEVER had problems with it anywhere before?!?!?) ---and some times it seemed the Wifi would cut out on my hubby's phone. It's ok as we aren't tied completely to our devices, but just a note that it could be a problem for someone who is more tied to internet. We LOVED the new TV's and decor.......TV's were much easier to utilize and enjoy!!

Simply spectacular

We loved the villa and location!! Sunsets from the deck were spectacular. Sunrises were a short trip down the beach via foot, bike or car. The dog friendly beach was the best we have experienced. This time of the year the beach was not crowded and being able to take the leash off for play time was wonderful. The management company was very helpful with information before and during our visit. The Villa was clean and nice. The smart TV allowed us to use our streaming apps which we enjoyed. Overall it was a spectacular experience!! And we had the bonus experience of witnessing dolphins strand feeding on the north end of the beach.
