Donald Sandy Jr.���よって設計され、1968年にHelmut Emkeによって構築されたVista Grandeには、長年にわたって2つの追加機能があり、どちらもObie Bowmanによって設計されています。

Peaceful getaway

The house was beautiful, spacious, and well furnished. We felt like we had a lot of privacy, but it was still an easy drive to town if we needed anything. The view of the ocean in the daytime is spectacular, and you can see the stars at night.

So beautiful

The house was exactly as pictured. It is such a beautiful location with lots to explore. The only negative was how fast the time went and we wished we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful view but smaller than photos

Used to staying at Sea Ranch homes further north in the community but decided on this location to save $. The house online looks spacious but design has the square footage broken up in to many small rooms; only the kitchen and eating area was as expected. The living room television is more like a computer monitor in size but the room is so small that "it kinda fits". Needs some repair and updating overall. Not a suitable home for over 50 years of age due to all the small turns and steps to move through the house.

Celebrating our son’s wedding

Beautiful home! It has a wonderful view of the ocean, great hot tub in perfect and private location, didn’t get to use the sauna, maybe next time! The beds are comfortable, kitchen well stocked, everything was great!!

Excellent Accommodations

We had a person with a walker in our party. It was perfect for him. No steps to his bedroom and bathroom. He wasn’t able to sit in the living room due to steps. We had a wonderful time!

Perfect getaway

Charming craftsman home, beautiful location, grand ocean view. The location was remote, about 20 minutes drive to the nearest shops or restaurants, which suited us well. It was totally quiet, wildlife was abundant, and the stargazing was amazing.

weaving retreat

We are a small group of long time friends, all weavers, who meet to share recent work, ideas for future projects, happenings in our lives and the textile world. Vista Grande proved perfect for us. We relaxed by walking along to bluff and beaches. We shared the cooking - a wonderful kitchen/family room where we could all be together, very well equipped kitchen. Our group greatly enjoyed our visit, would definitely recommend this house.

Lovely view in quiet location

We enjoyed our stay, especially the view from the hot tub. We enjoyed the games and DVDs and appreciated having shampoo, conditioner and soap provided. The kitchen is well provisioned and we enjoyed the kitchen layout for cooking together. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed easy access to hikes from the house. The house is well equipped but needs a little updating. With a 4 pm check in in late December it was a bit difficult to find lights that work (many were out), and figure out the heating (run off of multiple thermostats throughout the house) in the dark. Also, the check in that required going to Gualala which is a bit tough when traveling from the south as this property is on the southern end of sea ranch, especially now as there is no longer a Tesla supercharger in the area. This resulted in using up our battery unnecessarily.

Cozy and spacious

The views are great as were the amenities in a well stocked house. The sheltered outside deck was wonderful to protect from sun and wind when necessary. House spread out nicely for sound barriers with guests. Also very private and quiet.

Perfect spot in Sea Ranch

Great location with views of the Pacific. Hot tub location is prime. The design of this house is wonderful with unique nooks to explore for days. Fun to walk and bike the trails throughout Sea Ranch from this location.

Wonderful place!

Got to watch whales from the hot tub!

It was a lovely escape from pandemic stress. We didn't have to interact with other people and the view was amazing. It is a bit of an odd layout but was a good house overall. Thank you for the use of your home!

Great house and location

Definitely coming back. The location, the view of the ocean from the house and the hot tub, the sauna and the design of the house were splendid. Welll-equipped kitchen. A really nice fireplace. The house has quirks that did not bother us, e.g. internet is there but is super slow. Maybe a perk when you try to disconnect.

Stunning views, peace, great house, flawless amenities

The place is stunning. The house has a great, unobstructed view of the ocean. The house is well equipped, including the kitchen, everything was perfectly clean and in working order (including the sauna and the hot tub). Love the place and would come back without hesitation. Based on this experience I would also look at any other properties managed by Vacasa. Great job! Two minor things: (1) the internet connection is very poor (about 10Mb bandwidth). Good for email and messaging but not much else. SeaRanch now has fiber internet but this house is not connected to it, which is too bad. (2) the checkin process requires you drive 10 minutes to Gualala to pick up an envelope, which seems unnecessary because you have access to the house via a lockbox. Why not leave the envelope inside the house?

Tickle all your senses!

This house is perfect for spending time with your family, it connects you with nature, ocean, breeze, animals in a very subtle way. You experience awe and surprises in a pleasant way, being in this house. The layout of the spaces and the supplies provided in the house allows many activities to naturally occur and make the experience richer. Any age group person will enjoy this place. We loved our stay and would love to come back again!

Calm and private west coast retreat

This space worked well for all of us providing spaces to come together or retreat to private nooks for. The place including the hot tub was immaculately clean and the kitchen was especially well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the amenities provided everything we needed for a retreat weekend for a family of adults spending time together. We left the parking passes in the unit, took out all the garbage and started the dishwasher, and a load of towels for the housecleaners before we left, leaving everything tidy and the beds stripped of sheets. We appreciated the opportunity to stay! Thank you!

Gorgeous Views and Lovely Property

My family enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we needed (although the hot tub was cold when we got there & it took us a day to get it heated, so be sure to check that when you arrive). The sauna was nice. Sea Ranch is always a lovely spot to relax and spend time with family. House was clean and spacious and had some spectacular views. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was beautiful; but, Vacasa imposed on us....

We enjoyed our stay, the views, etc. The majority of the blinds need updating, some don't open. The intrusion was from Vacasa....they had housekeeping show up a day early....not once; but, twice. It was one thing when Jody out of Gualala Vacasa sent housekeeping out the first time; but, she didn't realize the error of her ways until she sent the housekeeper out a second time asking to speak to me on her phone. Apparently Jody had attempted to call me; but, I was not able to send/receive texts/calls from the house so I didn't get her call. Once on the phone with me, Jody called me by the wrong name. I corrected her. Then she asked, "what property are you at?". I replied and she figured out her mistake. Thankfully we were between outings and back at the property otherwise I don't know what housekeeping would have thought of all of our stuff in every room.... This did not please us.
