"I stayed at this hotel while visiting my son, who attends a nearby university, and the location was perfect! It was only a five-minute walk to his campus, and I could also take a public bus to the airport, which was very convenient. The hotel is a beautiful historic building with lots of charm and character. My room was a good size for one person. The only downside was that there was no elevator, so carrying my suitcase up to the second floor was a bit of a challenge. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches during my stay. The housekeeper left a lovely welcome note in my room, which was such a sweet surprise. Even one of the other guests was kind enough to share a pastry with me! The hotel staff were also helpful when needed. With rates under $200 a night, I thought it was a great value for the money. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying here again!"

"In Pittsburgh for a wedding. Place was great for 4 couples. 4 bedrooms all with queen beds. We had a few issues with the entry code (our fault), wi-fi (could have been clearer what network to sign on to). But, hosts response to text we're lightning quick. Be advised, on street parking in tricky in Shadsyside. Host provides 1 spot behind the property. You might score a 2nd spot behind if conditions are right (we did). But, if you roll in w/ 3-4 cars it might get expensive as you'll have to park in a near-by pay lot. The traffic cops DO make the rounds, we saw them multiple times. Kitchen (we cook a lot) was pretty well stocked with utensils/pots/pans. Plenty of room. Plenty of TVs. plenty of bathrooms (we had 4 women and there were no issues). Neighborhood is great. Felt safe. If you are a walker of jogger.........no problems. Lots of restuarants/coffee/grocery options. Easy Uber/Lyft to Strip District and Downtown. All -n all we were happty."

"I was a bit worried when we arrived at the street. Neighbourhood looks a little sketchy, but we had no problems. Neighbors all seemed pretty nice and the apartment was very nice inside. Spacious enough for two people and very clean. Everything looks pretty new. The backyard is a nice added bonus. Bashir was very easy to communicate with and helpful in getting us a permit to park. One warning, the street is close enough to the university so there were some pretty loud parties going on Friday night. If you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs."
