「A great little place to stay. Right in the middle of where you want to be with free parking on the surrounding streets. Very friendly place and done out nicely whilst retaining the character of the property. Very quiet with comfy beds. I even got an ice bucket for my milk! Adam is very helpful, putting a fan in the bedroom. Will definitely be back.」

「Beautiful but compact room.We stayed in the small double as it was the only one left available when we booked, but perfect for a nights stay. The room had everything you would need and more including dressing gowns and a fan for warmer nights The breakfast was one of the best that we've had in a long time. The scrambled egg and smoked salmon was exceptional. We will definitely be back but would look at a Seaview room and a few more nights.」

「I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. 「Great position, we managed to park outside near the Travelodge before walking to the hotel. Very friendly welcome. We booked the small room which was very nice, queen size bed, safe in the room, free bottled water, kettle and lavazza coffee machine. Great shower, heated up very quickly, quality shower gel, shampoo conditioner and hand lotion. Free hot drinks in the lounge via machine. Free cookies after 4pm! After our meal out, we came back for a coffee and a hot chocolate. Free films...

「Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!」

We chose Palm Court because of its location and its residents car park, this is a covered car park a just round the corner from the main entrance. Check in was quick and simple. Our room (No 31) was very nice, it was on the corner of the building with windows overlooking the front of the hotel and the multi story car park to the side. 「To tall for the shower I am only 6ft.room was on the small side.miss leading on meals as they was no where at the hotel for meals as the pictures on the advertisement showed .you have to go off site for breakfast.Does not mention this on the advertisement.as I’m disabled it was very difficult to open the door into the room as it was catching on the floor.there was no wardrobe to hang any clothes.」

「Room was not cleaned on 2 days, breakfast quality was good but service disorganised, was 1st into Breakfast last to be served. Another room was broken into in middle of night, police also had to attend following night. This was my third staying at the Waves, last 2 years excellent but this year was very poor, have cancelled booking for next year. Two other couples who have been staying each year also not booking for next year. A real shame the change from last year 」

「Had a very nice stay here. It is the first time we stayed. We had a larger room. It was very clean & newly decorated, such a bonus. For the price it was excellent, would recommend it. Staff were friendly. It was a good location for the town. Meals available, we did not use the these facilities, so carn't comment. We would stay here again. 」
