"This property was perfect! It was located next door to a dive resort and across the street and down the road (walking distance) to Split Rock for magnificent snorkeling! Martha, our host made communication a breeze. She was very kind to even arrange for a taxi pickup at the airport. Martha was waiting to welcome us when our taxi arrived at the home. The home itself was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked making it very easy to cook our meals there. We made good use of the gas stovetop, the oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and even the hot water kettle. The property the home sits on was a delight for us. There were several papaya trees in season so it was so fun to pick a tree-ripened papaya every morning to have with breakfast. We loved everything about this home, our hosts and the staff. Martha’s groundskeeper was cutting a coconut tree down one day and was so kind to bring us 3 coconuts. He then gave us a quick lesson on how to open it and drink the delicious coconut water.! We felt so spoiled! We didn’t rent a car and felt we didn’t suffer for it. The local bus stopped close to the home and for $1.00 USD, we would take a 15 minute bus ride to town for groceries and supplies. Fiji is a beautiful place to visit and we would highly recommend visiting Savusavu and staying at this lovely home! Thank you Martha for a lovely experience! "

"It doesn’t get more beautiful, private, and beach than this. We walked in the beach for sunset every day, used Alex’s kayak to paddle out and snorkel at the reef, and enjoyed cooking meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Alex and Avi are wonderful hosts. Responsive, welcoming, friendly. The cottage is beautifully designed and clean. The sound of the waves and birdsong was so relaxing. We highly recommend this beautiful spot!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Maravu Paradise Villa. Dani was an excellent communicator right from the start. She has a great online guide to the house and was very responsive to questions. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with a/c and en suite bathrooms. There are multiple common areas to either be together or find your own spot (and the screened in porch has more comfy furniture than pictured). We loved having breakfast (prepared by Chef Raj) outside every morning. The view is lovely and we enjoyed watching the sunsets from beside the pool. The outdoor shower in the primary bedroom was great!"

"We liked being close to the ocean and having lots of privacy. Subhash was great at accommodating our needs. Savusavu town shopping and restaurants are 15min away. Bus and taxis easily accessible. The menu options available on the property was also a great variety. Bula Vinaka."

"We had the pleasure of staying at this incredible private island retreat, and it truly surpassed all our expectations. The accommodation has three bedrooms in their own villas, which provided ample space and comfort for my family. The island villas are thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. However, the true stars of our stay were our hosts, Josh and Shabana. They were the epitome of graciousness and warmth, making us feel welcomed from the very first moment. Their friendliness and genuine care turned our holiday into a truly memorable experience. They were incredibly helpful, organizing activities and even taking us on trips to the grocery shop to ensure we had everything we needed. They even arranged for an exceptional chef-prepared meal at our villa, which was one of the highlights of our stay! It was well worth the cost. Thanks to their efforts, we didn’t just have a wonderful vacation—we made friends for life. This island retreat is a hidden gem that we cannot recommend highly enough!"

"Check-In: Prompt, in the correct room, right away, much earlier than the regular check-in time posted. Host and Hostess: Mr. Mukesh and his wife are excellent hosts! They are easily available if you have a request! Both are polite, gentle, humble! They own this 12 room hotel. Room: Quite, large. With fan, AC, medium size fridge, medium size TV. Bathroom was clean, hot, and cold water and it worked fine! Toiletries provided. Coffee, tea, creamer. View from the several roof to floor large windows of the bay, Nami island. Excellent in the delux room number 2. Bed: Comfortable. Clean. Kitchen: Allows making meals. Location: Totally near: Savusavu market, Pearls shop, Resturants next door Liquor shop Barbers shop Seafood shop. Hosts are generous and kind people! Whole family is excellent! Wifi was good strength. They even provided a hot spot for me! Fresh fish daily in the market! Excellent shops nearby! The magic happened for me several times. I was extra nice to them: One day they provided me okra with rice my favorite meal. Remember, I was extra nice to the staff, host family! Yes, the place us quite! There is a night guard! Near bys and taxi stands! Walkable to everything! A medical center around the corner! Totally convenient! Parking is free! I thoroughly loved my stay! I plan to come again! This is my second stay at the Bay View Barbers lodge. For my extra nice style, Mukesh dropped me at the Savusavu Airport and went on a boat trip."
