It promises a relaxing retreat close to all the shopping, landmarks, top restaurants, & hospitals. Although it’s only one room, you will find everything you need to rest comfortably, cook, and work from this great space. Also available for one-month long rental with lease.

The property inside looks just like the pictures. It is not small, but perfect for 2 people. The mattress is not great, but doable for a small vacation. The refrigerator did not work, so we could not keep any groceries or any drinks cold. The freezer overworked and had ice build up. It has a nice stove, pots and pans, dishes, but again cannot use the refrigerator. The host was very responsive when I had questions. The location is great and convenient. You have to drive to get to downtown Savannah, but it is nice. The driveway is rather severe when you pull in, but just need to push the gas a little. I think it would be a great idea for the host to add pavers all the way up the path. It could be a trip hazard in the dark. I think if the host could address the refrigerator, I could give a much higher review. If that can be fixed, I would definitely stay here again. The location, the decor and what this little Cozy Cottage offered was good. Just some things the host needs to address.

Could have been better
The host was very responsive when prompted, but we had to request check in and check out information last minute on both ends. The refrigerator did not work- light on but was not cold no matter which setting we tried. Freezer did, though? Bed was caved in on one side. A can opener and hair dryer would have been nice. Would recommend including more than the bare minimum for towels. Great water temperature but absolutely no water pressure. Driveway no more than a small concrete slab that we bottomed out in parking in leaving, in a full size SUV. Overall, the place looks nice and we made it work because of the location. I definitely don’t think that I’d stay here again, though.

The most uncomfortable stay.
Upon arrival, five minutes after the check in time. I had zero instructions to access the property, so much so that I had no idea that the rental was in the back of the property. Driving a small rental car made it difficult to enter the off street parking pad due to its low profile. I would scrap the pad while entering and exiting if I did not do so at an angle. Upon entering, the floor was dirty with dry debris and unfinished electrical was dangling above the kitchen. The toilet seat was so loose you would fall off and the toilet roll holder consistently fell off. Also, there’s no mirror in the bathroom? The freezer worked great, however the refrigerator did not work at all. This was a huge bummer causing us to eat out for the extent of our trip. WORST OF ALL the bed was the worst I have EVER slept in. The mattress is a 6inch spring mattress, which would be okay if the box spring was not destroyed. The box spring was broken beyond comprehension, causing the mattress to sink down 1.5ft. This is not an exaggeration. Overall, the worst VRBO I’ve stayed in to date.

Uncomfortable
To sum this up in few words. It was the most uncomfortable stay I’ve had. I left after the first night. The pictures are accurate but the quality of the couch and bed are the worst. I was neat but not clean. I had to request check in information to get in etc. Definitely a garage made into a rental for profit not comfort.

Great little place!
I went to Savannah for a weekend only, and this carriage home was perfect! I had all of the necessities, and the house was very clean. The property manager was responsive and helpful as well. So close to downtown, perfect for one or two people! Highly recommend
