"Our family of 11 loved the house with its big open spaces and plenty of room for our family. The house is beautiful and very well stocked with all of the kitchen supplies you could need. The owner, Mike was very responsive and accommodating of our needs. The walk to the beach, Dairy Queen and into downtown Lewes was very easily made with our 5 grandkids aged 5 to 18 months. Our family also really enjoyed the pool and the screened in deck/porch on the main floor. Thanks for the memories!"

"Very clean and spacious property as advertised. The provided 2 beach carts, beach chairs, and umbrellas were a huge help in cutting down equipment we needed to pack. Being so close to the beach with 2 little ones was also key. Mike was very responsive when storms caused an issue with the door lock code as well and it taken care of quickly. We hope to be back sometime soon!"

"Very good communication and helpful, nice unit.The unit was above a store, perhaps I didn’t look at the details close enough It was difficult to find.Also up aback stairs.The couch;bed in the living area was not comfortable to watch TVThe unit had a mandatory 59 damage insurance fee.Coupled with the other fees the fees where very high.I will not rent again with mandatory insurance."

"This is a fabulous location for seeing all of Lewes. So easy to bike to the beaches and walk to the shops and restaurants. Such a wonderful retreat to come back to after a day out. It was a wonderful place to have a reunion with an old friend. The main room is very spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was very usable. The historic aspects of the house were very charming really enjoyed being able to sit out on the porch and enjoy the garden in the shade. Great little shed for the bicycles. Highly recommend this as a retreat spot."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the first house in Lewes we stayed at about 20 years ago so it was delightful to see how it has been upgraded since then. Everything was very comfortable with plenty of room for the family. The wrap around porch was a hit with lots of seating, including a porch swing and hammock. It was a short walk to the beach and a reasonable walk into town. The driveway is long and narrow, which means sometimes shuffling cars around, but there is also a parking space in the back that can fit two cars. We definitely want to stay there again."

"What a lovely property! The house was clean and spacious, meeting all our needs. And the two times we had questions/needs from the owners they responded promptly and acted quickly… highly recommend the Cape Shores community, too, as it has some much to do around it that you never even need to get in a car! It was an awesome week at the beach!"
