"The room was spacious, clean and private. The staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive. The grounds were lovely, with plenty of trees and flowering plants. The pool was large and cleaned consistently, and the views of the beach and ocean were beautiful. We saw plenty of birds, iguanas and the howler monkeys. As for the restaurant, the breakfast was generally very good, but the eggs were frequently cold. The prices are high and several of the dinner items we had were not good....for example, very tough osso buco and over-spiced fettuccine. We had fresher and better food down the beach at the Eco-Camping mini restaurant, and at Blu. This resort would benefit from more activities. The shallow end of the pool is perfect for things like water volleyball and aquafit. The place also needs quite a bit of maintenance in the rooms, and on the grounds. Overall, we had a good stay."

"The pools were excellent! Water was super clean. My skin felt nice after each dip. No chlorine! Super quiet and peaceful. The food is amazing. Such good authentic quality and clean ingredient food. Such variety and diversity and everything fresh. Tastes so so good. Now I know why people retire to Costa Rica. This place deserves to be a blue zone. Clean air, water and food. Can even see stars at night. Beach was amazing. People with jet skis offered us a tour and it was so amazing. The rooms are probably one star less only because I’m used to four seasons but they were good value. Music at the swim up tiki bars was good. Also the people were super friendly and kind to me and my kids. Oh and there’s a perfect playground for small kids and a huge tree climbing course for bigger kids. Bonfire was a nice touch at the end of every evening. Would come back again!"

"Only complaint I have is that the bridge was leaking. My partner and I went to dinner and when we came back to the room there was water everywhere. They didn’t fix it or give us another room, they just turned it off. After that everything was amazing, the staff was wonderful. The food was good, the drinks were good."

"The Palms At Coco Beach is a reasonably priced property that offers a number of benefits. Two minute walk to the beach, nice outdoor restaurant and pool area. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean, but basic... more than sufficient for those who are outdoors and on the move all day. Bed was comfortable and clean."
