"This is not a hotel but at best a basic hostel. No amenities, no elevator, dismal, dingy, dirty rooms and bathrooms. No eating facilities except in the very basic rooms with no seating except the small beds. Sub standard breakfast provided on scruffy roof area,5 floors up with steep stairs and a few chairs with ripped and filthy seats. Rooms have small frosted windows which are covered to hide the awful views of the very run down neighbourhood. Left after 2 nights with our friends, the Lightowlers and moved to a far better hotel we found ourselves and at extra cost. I doubt any of us will use Expedia again if such misleading descriptions of properties remain available through you. The first two days of our six day trip were ruined because of this awful place so we were very unhappy "

"A great night stay. The reception are exceptional and courteous. I slept comfortably and well, especially after long flights, comfort was a big plus. The restaurant has amazing choice for breakfast and I’m partial to the cinnamon roll (made with croissant pastry), so brilliant. Very fresh orange juice and great fruit. The hot choices are delicious as well. Will be back the next time I’m back in Giza. "

"The host at the rooftop is excellent. The guy (Muhammed) working the late evening front desk shift until the morning is very helpful, speaks good English, and overall honest. The girl working the front desk is a liar very dishonest. My dining bill was 1887 egyptian pounds (I gave the host a tip on the table) and decided on her own to round up my tab. I paid it because she said she had no change. When I paid my taxi to the airport again they had no change so I did not accommodate her scheme. I gave a tip to the taxi driver directly. The only reason I'd advise not to stay here again is because it's 22 minutes away from the new museum and about 25 minutes away from Sphinx. 45 minutes from the Airport with no food options within walking distance. We tried walking to a corner store and restaurant but the side streets were dirt and no one could understand us on how to reach the restaurant. The alleys had been bricked off where the map thought it was a road to pass through."
