「Das Appartement entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Es war sehr sauber. Alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Die Lage war perfekt, in wenigen Minuten erreichte man mit dem Auto die schönsten Gegenden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.」

「A fabulous location, and surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of the old town. Apartment 1 is at the top of the building with 2 steep staircases to navigate. But once up there it is airy and bright with everything you could need. No hanging space for clothes but lots of room to store items flat. Accommodating and quick response to messages with host. Excellent location! Had a wonderful stay. Ombrigada. 」

「Stayed here last week and had a nice time… the property definitely could be cleaner. We arrived to food smeared on the cupboards, no top sheets, dirty couch and pillows. The location is great however, and there is easy street parking that is free. The deck and view are amazing. Overall our stay was pleasant but if you’re looking for a super clean and polished property, this is not it. Also had to coordinate with the owners brother to get the key which I found a little strange.」

「Schön hergerichtete Unterkunft mit herrlicher Dachterrasse (den ganzen Tag Sonne) und tollem Ausblick über Funchal bis hinunter in den Hafen. Ein Mietwagen ist empfehlenswert, da es ein ganzes Stück bergauf geht. Parkmöglichkeiten waren i.d.R. vor der Unterkunft gegeben (öffentlich/kein fester Stellplatz). Aufteilung gut (ein großes und ein kleineres Schlafzimmer). Wohnung ist etwas hellhörig. Die Küche befindet sich im Wintergarten der Terrasse. Gute Aufteilung. Würden wir wieder buchen.」

「We enjoyed staying in this condo. It was conveniently located so that we could walk to wonderful dinners every evening. We also were able to go on some beautiful walks from the condo. Had a couple issues getting settled in the condo (with WIFI, etc) but we were able to get it all figured out. Would have been nice to have manuals in English for hot tub, washing machine and other appliances. Also would have been nice to have more than one set of towels for a weekly stay. 「The apartment was dated with old furniture and all of the same complaints (in the onsite book) as were noted in 2018! The shower leaked, the bathroom door is sticky and you have to call the company to meet you at the apartment to get in. There was no lock box. We saw a friend's apartment close by which was the same price and it was beautiful. When we had an issue and called and emailed the company OVER 10 times, there was no response for over 24 hours! (Imagine if we forgot the keys in the...

「The roof of the accomodation / conservatory lean-to was a tarpaulin. There was an entire louvre door with no glass so there was no insulation from wind up the mountain which rattled the tarpaulin roof. The Jacuzzi never worked and the shower leaked into the bath and flooded the room. No sound insulation from barking dogs or heat insulation and no heater. No television and no Wi-Fi. No restaurant. Five layers of duvets and blankets at night because it was so cold. Toilet did not work...
