Excellent stay at Maria‘s place, Ana couldn’t do enough for us, the apartment was perfect, clean, tidy and Comfortable. Had the best shower!! Breakfast was lovely, would definitely recommend.

Unforgettable experience

Maria place hotel is strategically located at the start of Oia caldera. Walking distance from grocery stores, bus stop and cafes. Plenty of free car park available which is rare to find in Oia even though we didn’t rent a car. Rooms are traditional style, airy with lots of windows and plenty of space for kids also if needed. Anna and her family manages the hotel and they are always available to help. Thank you once again for making our experience so comfortable. You can never get enough of Oia

A beautiful, charming property just a 5-10 minute walk from the main shopping area in Oia. The room was huge (it was two stories actually, with a kids room in a loft) and had a kitchenette, dining area, and porch. The staff was amazing and the home cooked breakfast offerings were delicious.

It was absolutely great to stay at Maria’s place. Anna was a sweetheart and gave you advices on places to visit/go eat and made sure everything was running smoothly! It’s very worth it to pay for their breakfast. When I’ll go back to Santorini, I’ll stay at her place for sure!!!

Highly recommended

Such clean, spacious accommodation. Best sunset view. Great pool, plenty of sunloungers for all, great breakfast. The hosts are so helpful and have great tourism advice, taxi booking etc. Transfers organised to most places (30 euro when I was there). Great restaurants, bars and shop close by. Can walk to Oia main pedestrian area in 5 minutes. Full size fridge, panini, toaster, kettle, nespresso, microwave in kitchen. Cleaned every day.

Maria's place... a place to be

Bien situé suffisamment éloigné de la foule et proche du centre à pied, Maria's place est à la fois un havre de paix pour celui qui souhaite se reposer, et proche des toutes les commodités pour celui qui souhaite visiter l'île. Pour protéger le calme de 9H30 à 19H00, les horaires de la piscine sont à notre goût un peu restreints. Nous avons certes préféré visiter l'île, plutôt que rester au bord de la piscine dans la journée. Maria est absolument charmante, chaleureuse et de très bon conseil... Grâce à elle, nous avons pu admirer le coucher du soleil loin de la foule qui se presse dans la ville, faire une excursion en bateau inoubliable.

Anna is a terrific hostess. The property is very close to Oia but not in the way of tourist foot traffic. A great sunset view from the balcony.

O apartamento é amplo, bem conservado, mas o ar condicionado e o frigobar fazem um barulho muito alto, após algumas horas de uso, o que nos atrapalhou dormir. O wifi tinha sinal fraco nos quartos. O hotel pratica regras muito restritivas que nos causaram desconforto. Não permitiram que um casal, amigos nossos já mais velhos, fossem até a entrada do nosso quarto. Já no hotel que esse mesmo casal estava hospedado, fomos recebidos muito bem pelo proprietário, que nos permitiu encontrar sempre com nossos amigos, já que estávamos viajando juntos, no mesmo carro, e era sempre necessário encontrar.

It was a welcoming atmosphere, especially since Ana (the manager) was there to help at all times. Every apartment is very private and the pool has a good view of the sunset.

Marias Place ist eine sehr schöne, saubere Appartementanlage, die Appartements sind schön eingerichtet und in der kleinen Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Jeden Tag gab es neue Nespressokapseln. Das Hotel ist etwas separat gelegen, sodass man nicht mitten im Touristenrummel ist, dennoch ist man zu Fuß sehr schnell im Ort Oia. Anna, die gute Seele des Hotels, gibt prima Infos zur Insel und ist immer und für alles da. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und würden auf jeden Fall wieder zu Maria's Place gehen...

A Lovely Hotel in a Lovely Locale!

I had a wonderful stay in Maria's Place - Adults Only. The room was very clean. And it was great having the kitchenette, with all the needed appliances, and a grocery store nearby. Just to be aware... at the time of the year I was there, the store closed at 9 pm. Anna, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful as to what sights to see and how to get to them. She was also very nice just to chat with! I had the buffet breakfast the first morning, and it was very good. As it was Easter, they also had traditional Easter foods, which was a nice touch. The pool was nice, although too cold to swim in, but it was nice sitting by it and getting some sun. The location of the hotel was good. It was a bit of a walk to the main pedestrian/tourist area of Oia, but not far (perhaps 5 - 8 minutes). Overall, I would definitely recommend Maria's Place, and would stay here for sure the next time I visited Santorini.
