The shuttle bus took us into vernazza each morning and brought us back early each evening (taxi available after approx 7 pm if you miss the last shuttle). Julia was very responsive to communications. "This is a lovely little apartment. We particularly enjoyed the location - close to the main square/beach/restaurants etc, but also it felt very 'Italian', it is a very pretty and historic part of town. The apartment itself is fine (it had not been cleaned when we got there, but perhaps we had got our timing confused). There were a few minor wear and tear issues (torn shower curtain etc), but overall it is a very functional and well equipped place - we were particularly grateful for the beach...

"We loved everything about this lovely home from home. The location was perfect and so peaceful, the host met us nearby and explained everything fully. We loved sitting on the balcony at night with a nice wine, being entertained by the fireflies. I wish we had stayed longer, it was heartbreaking to leave. Highly recommend this magical place."

"Apartment was perfectly located in old Monterosso. This village was the best for us. Very coean. Great vibe. Church bells ringing was lovely. We visited the convent, hit the beach and ate great meals. Apartment owners were phenomenal and accommodating. Apartment was easy to find and tucked into the perfect alley with multiple little cafes. Shopping was wonderful. Great night sleep with little outside traffic. No negative side to this apartment. Will absolutely return."

"The view from this hillside retreat was amazing! Waking up in the morning to the birds singing through the windows was a perfect start to the day before heading out to busier areas. The town of Lerici and castle were fun to explore and a short train ride to explore the sites of the Cinque Terre. "We enjoyed the location as it was a short walk to the train station and the downtown area which was superb. The apartment itself was very nice with a view of the surrounding area and sunset. We did hit high temperatures where air would have been better, but with the fan and opening the windows it was acceptable for us.
