「The Stone House, lovingly owned by Mark and Sharon was a step back in time. The stone structure, while I suspect it was built many years ago still had all of the modern conveniences you would want.This well appointed home was set in the mountains and we were able to step out of modern chaos and truly relax. 「A lovely authentic cottage in pretty gardens. A gem to find a rural property within walking distance of good restaurants. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Useful to know... If you arrive after 9pm, all the supermarkets/shops are closed, so get the basics you need or want for the night and first thing in the morning, such as water/coffee/milk before you leave the airport. The pool is a great size with lovely views. The Monchique area is delightful. A lovely holiday. 」

「We had a fantastic stay at the villa - the photos don't do it justice. Lots of space to relax & enjoy the views. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. We made several trips in all directions to Lisbon, Faro, Lagos, West coast beaches & East to the national park. But most of all we enjoyed relaxing around pool.」

「We hebben 2 heerlijke weken gehad op deze prachtige plek. Fijne ontvangst door de gastheer Wolf, die altijd op de achtergrond behulpzaam aanwezig was, maar nooit stoorde. 「A great place to stay surrounded by orange groves which were in flower and provided delicious oranges for our breakfast. Very easy to walk into Silves with many good places to eat. Easy to get to the coast and we ventured further inland. Great communication with the host. Lovely sitting out on the terrace by the pool looking at the cows and donkeys and watching the storks flying around and on their nests. Such friendly people. 」
