"We loved this hotel! The room was spacious, well-decorated, and very clean.We had a room with a bathroom in it. The bed was comfortable. We were very thankful for the A/C as the temps were very hot. Staff were warm, welcome, and helpful. They recommended restaurants, laundry mat and whatever we needed. The breakfast buffet had cold and hot items and great coffee. This was one of favorite hotels during our entire 3-week trip of Italy."

"The location is great, with electric train into Venice on the same block. And Very helpful staff. Our room had some badly damaged bathroom tiles and the tub had some damage so we asked for a new room and they had no problem upgrading us. The gym is small but serviceable. The portions in the dining room were small foe the price (even for Venice) but the breakfast buffet was well worth the 10 Euro advance price. Cool neoghbourhood and 15 mins from Marco Polo airport by taxi."

"In abit of a down and out part of town, and right next to the train station (which helped for our 2am arrival), we were pleasantly surprised with smooth check in, free room upgrade, comfortable room and magnificent breakfast. Leaves continental breakfasts in the dust! A great option if you are staying in Venice area."

"The rooms could use some updating but the location is fabulous. Breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were there during the heat and the A/C STRUGGLED to maintain even a 70°F room, which is part of what needs updating. It’s an old old building and I understand the difficulty in maintaining and updating a building like that. Bathroom was great - very spacious. Location and staff is why I would go back."

"We loved our stay here. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly; they arranged our transportation to and from the hotel via email in advance, provided excellent restaurant recommendations and walking routes, and assisted with rescheduling our departure time after a last-minute flight delay. The family room we stayed in was impeccably clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The included breakfast buffet was delicious and offered an abundance of options. We found the lobby bar to be a great place to recover from long, hot days exploring the city, and our kids claim they make the best Shirley Temple anywhere. Also important: it’s in a very convenient location and has great air conditioning!"
