「Great hotel for an overnight stay close to the airport. Friendly staff, free airport shuttle, close to many restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!」

「何回目かの宿泊ですが、今回が最悪でした。バスルームの壁にゴキブリの死骸が貼りつていました。また、歯ブラシとトイレットペーパーをリクエストして、2時間待っつ間3回電話しましたが、持って来てもらえず、受付カウンターまで取りに行く始末、その挙げ句歯ブラシは在庫切れとの事でした。マネジメントの問題が多々あると思われます。」

「Great budget hotel, with friendly staff and a comfy bed. Help yourself breakfast was a bonus. 」

「Liked hotel and helpful staff. Nothing immediately local but frequent local buses which run til 8.30/9pm back take you to Sandakan centre (RMS .70) where you can get good selection of foods and drinks. Lots of shopping malls. Sepilok(Orangutans and Honeybears) Labuk(Proboscis monkeys) Australian war memorial and Heritage trail were good. Only waste of time and money was Gomantong Bat caves. 4hrs from Sandakan, my camera could not get anything due to it's great size and darkness. Maybe nighttime...

「Staff are exceptional - friendly, kind, helpful. There's nothing fancy about the place, but nothing fancy is needed, given the surroundings. I especially enjoyed my balcony with the fan. Breakfast is decent and it's only a 20 min walk to the orangutan rehab centre and 5 mins to the rainforest discovery centre.」

「I loved this unique hotel, it was a tick off the bucket to stay in the rainforest! The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent and great value for money. It is very easy to get to the animal centres and I was still able to access the internet so could order grab taxis. I’d definitely recommend bringing bug spray! 100% would recommend, where else can you stay in the rainforest?!」

「For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle. The hotel is near the Central Market, Harbour Mall & the promenade plus local shops but don’t get...
