"Steele Hill is absolutely beautiful! My room was clean and comfy and reasonably priced for a resort! I will say check in can be confusing as they said I was staying in the main building. The map only says east building, west building etc. You would think the brightly lit building on the hill would be the main building, but that’s incorrect. A sign outside the buildings would be really helpful, especially for people arriving after dark like I did! Also, the hotel is located on the top of a hill, about 5 miles from the closest town, and only has one restaurant/option for food. My complaint is that I booked the hotel with specific plans to eat at the restaurant for dinner and everything I saw said it would be open- it was not. This isn’t cosmic, but definitely inconvenient when it’s the only thing close by and I’d specifically booked the hotel knowing I was going to have a late day and planning the restaurant around that. Overall the resort was absolutely stunning and the view cannot be beat!! Highly recommend staying here for a lovely getaway!"

"The hotel is outdated, but very clean rooms, I did not check bathtub, but toilet and sink area we're fine. I care more about cleanliness of floor and the bed was very clean and comfortable. I stayed in a single bed room, we requested a refrigerator for diabetic supplies and it was fine. No microwave in room, but microwaves at end of hallway. Breakfast was fine sausage egg cheese croissant that I heated in microwave, and bagels and toaster and fresh fruit and yogurt and coffee, orange juice and milk. Staff was kind and helpful when asked for anything. I will definitely come back and save money. Thank you so much!!!"

"have stayed at VRBO places and this is not even close to what we expected. old couch, two very thin pillows on the bed, no blanket on the bed, no shampoo or soap in the bathroom, it looked like someone that had been there left a shampoo/conditior 2 in one. My husband went to use a glass and said it smelled like it had been washed with an old sponge. went home a night early."

"We have stayed at other locations promising sandy beach - great for CB kids that were anything but. This location was exactly what it promised, kiddos. Had a great time."

"We had a great weekend! Wonderful house in a lovely location. Great lake views from house and the deck. Easy very short walk down to beach and swimming. Kayaks too but we focused on hiking. House is very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of hot water. Kitchen and upstairs living room area great for cooking and gathering at the end of the day. Owners are great communicators. We hope to be back again soon. "
