「The location on the map is not accurate, please contact the staff for guidance or to open the door. When you stand in Piazza S. Clemente, and look south, you will see the hotel's terrace, the entrance door is from Via delle Piagge. 「This host is lazy at best and deceptive at worst. I've never written a negative review before but here we go:
- I sent 3 messages in the 3 days leading up to our stay with no response from Maria (no information provided regarding check-in process etc). She only got back to me a few hours before check-in time.

「The house in Castel St Elia is truly an authentic and unique place, the host is detail oriented, very accommodating and communicative. The house has everything you need, even a mini popcorn machine and dishwasher. We traveled with our dog and cooked dinners at the house and felt very comfortable. The view is amazing, so is access to town, many churches and hiking trails into the valley. If you are a true hiker you can take the 4.5km trail to Nepi which is the neighboring worth visiting.」

「Die Wohnung ist genau wie auf den Bildern, sehr liebevoll gestaltet, sehr ordentlich und sauber gehalten. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Allein der Standort ist mit der Einfahrt direkt auf eine schlecht einsehbare Straße (Spiegel helfen hier) und ohne Zugang zu Fuß ein kleines Manko für mich.Vielen Dank für einen herrlichen Tag am See:)」
